PS Plus Essential Games for August 2024 Announced

Well, Ender lilies for me. Which is actually fine, whenever Plus gives me at least one game of my list I'm happy

Don't care about lego so weak lineup for me, also fnaf a tad overdue?
Could've lined it up with the movie.

Not a bad month honestly. Ender Lilies is definitely the main highlight for me. Heard people say it's super good so excited to check it out

Never heard of Ender Lilies, but its something I may check out in future and Lego games are always a bit of fun if I ever clear my backlog.

Ender Lilies looks really cool but Lego Star wars is pretty nice too.

I feel this was a mistake on Sony's part to have a massive Lego game on PS Plus mere months before Lego Horizon releases. For me I was gonna by Lego Horizon to play coop with my wife but now I can do that at no extra cost, and will probably be burnt out on Lego games by the time Aloy arrives

Ahhh already got Lego Star Wars but it’s incredibly daunting, despite the fact I’ve platinumed every Lego game except LoTR, Hobbit, Incredibles, Movie 2 and Ninjago Movie.

Ender Lillies is a great game, but nothing else of interest for me. That’s okay, though — I have too many games in my backlog as it is.

Ended Lillies will be added. Waivering over Freddie’s - never played any of them and for some random reason thought they were online multiplayer survival games (?🤦🏼‍♂️). Won’t be adding Lego SW as I have that already.

All of this stuff is on Switch, but either of Skywalker Saga and Ender Lilies could generally make a month on their own.

@themightyant Ah, nice. Metroidvanias aren’t my first choice but every now and then are good to mix in. Push Square didn’t review it so I wasn’t following it. But I think maybe they talked about it on Sacred Symbols briefly

When a Lego game is considered the highlight of the month, Sony we have a problem. Between this and last month, the only place to go in September is up....right?

Ender Lillies looks interesting. I like Lego games, but Star Wars doesn't do it for me.

Yet another Lego game... May as well just call PS Plus, PS Lego at this point..it's good if you're 9 years old I guess.

Star Wars Lego is an impressive game if you haven’t played it.

Definitely give the Lego a crack, but I’ve so many games to catch-up on (4 are still sealed).
I don’t think gaming has ever been so exciting and I grew up with the spectrum 48k. If I were a kid I’d never be able to sleep.

Ender Lillies has been sitting on my wishlist for a long while for a day when I needed a new Metroidvania. So one out of three games is better than most months.

Awesome about Security Breach. After I saw the movie last year I spent a pan gift card on the first 6 fnaf games and played through all 6 in a month. Kept wanting to pull the trigger on Security Breach but didn't. This is the one I've been really wanting to play!!! Good month for me

@FEWGEE1 plenty of older people love Lego games and they've offered hundreds if not thousands of games over the years. So that's an exaggeration if I ever saw one. They probably gave away just as many Assassin's Creed games through plus.

Has this site not played Ender Lillies?!? It's incredible, one of the best modern Metroidvanias with more heart and soul than most games ever have.

I heard good things about Ender Lilies so i wanna try it. And i always enjoy Lego games whenever i want to relax after playing hours of fighting games or survival horror games.

LEGO games are always pretty solid but if you’ve played one you’ve basically played them all and I’ve played a few of them. I’m not interested in either of the other two games so not a very good lineup for me, personally even though I might put the LEGO game in my library for a rainy day, so to speak….

Those games seem like the go-to whenever PlayStation is thinking about what "family friendly" title to add.

Must be Lego months because there's a lot of Lego games on Switch that are ending in 2 days on sale. Glad I dropped my subscription was only playing Helldivers 2 but got it on PC and I don't have to pay monthly to play it.

Not only are these games cheap but if skywalker is the headliner, o my o my o my.

It was probably the biggest bore fest I ever sat through. Cant comment on the others but non of them peak my interest and they may others.

Really poor month.

For the cost of the service, they could at least add a better selection of games.

Nothing of interest but I have tons of previous months games to get on with so it's no biggie, first month in a long long time where there's nothing for me but …..........the extra games haven't been announced yet

It's a great month, Lego Skywalker Saga is a great game, i spend more than 80h with it and I had a great time

Ender lilies is a game that I have in the radar for some time but always I finished playing other game, is a welcome addition taht I will try for sure

And the Freddy's one, i have no idea, and I have not interest in it but it's a popular saga
