While we've come to appreciate the many masochistic ways in which some players choose to engage with FromSoftware's already difficult games, there is something immensely satisfying in seeing its big bads be brought low by statistical dominance. Case in point: Streamer Ainrun stacks a frankly silly number of buffs in order to defeat the final boss of Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdrtree expansion in a single blow. Endgame spoilers for SotE to follow!
In the anxiety-inducing clip below, Ainrun stacks all sorts of temporary buffs, seemingly on a stringent time frame, resulting in a single thrust dealing over 93K damage to Consort Radahn, finishing the two-phase fight before it even really begins. It's an impressive display of dominance, and if you're interested in the mechanical nitty-gritty of how it was achieved, IGN delved into what is likely going on beneath the hood. Since this initial effort, Ainrun managed to crack the 100K mark, which he described as his "magnum opus".

I dunno.. I think I prefer my two-day struggle to this 🥲 What's an Elden Ring boss without a bit of PTSD anyways? 😅
This just confirms that Elden Ring is an easy game. I'm sticking to the parking lot tutorial section in Driver PS1 if I'm into a challenge
I've taken a break on this dude, it'll need time and a lot more leveling up so I'm back to the Lands Between to find Hoarah Loux, Radagon and co. Meantime, I'm back on MH Rise.
@TheArt Leveling up won't do much in the DLC, at least the common way. Find Scadutree fragments instead.
Stack up on hefty rot pots, that's what did him for me.
@Czar_Khastik trauma !! That slalom and reverse 180 omg 😱😱😱
@Uromastryx Haha yes, exact those two I had in mind
Now that's how to do a bitch slap.
Wow that’s seriously impressive. I actually had to go back and rewatch the clip because it happened so fast I never saw him hit the boss. Seriously super cool and makes me wanna do that hahaha.
@dschons Exactly! Players are fighting the final boss based on a high character level when the truth is Scadutree Fragments are FAR more important. I'd suggest you need a minimum SF level of 15-16 to fight Radahn added to the tips outlined above.
