I’m genuinely shocked I’ve never heard of this before and it didn’t do well!

Many don't like this game but this was the first chance to play with MegamanZ Zero in a fighting game so I really loved this game as a kid even when I wasn't even good at it.

Also kind of funny that it went from an xbox exclusive in NA for the original to skip xbox (probably for the same technical issues that made Capcom do the same) for the port.

Hope they release capcom vs snk too eventually

I played this game years ago and i thought it was mediocre especially the visuals looks really rough compare to other SNK games that looks very polished. CvS 2 is definitely a better game.

But this makes me think that SNK and Capcom are gearing up for a new SNK vs Capcom game. Terry & Mai as a guest in SF 6 and now this, i would be surprise if they don't cook a new SvC or CvS game in their kitchen.

I had it on Xbox back in the day and it wasn’t great. Picked it up at the same time I bought Guilty Gear X2 #Reload which was much better. I may get it on Steam but not in a rush. More hyped for the Marvel v Capcom collection.

Honestly, not SNK’s best fighting game. I think SNK was going through some trouble around the time this game was released. It’s not a bad game, just could be better. I had this on the Xbox back in the day. Sony of America didn’t want this so it wasn’t released on the PS2 here.

Wasn't a fan back then. Was pretty low effort compared to both CAPvSNK 1 & 2

I know that they were on incredibly shaky ground at the time, but c'mon...just use the old backdrops. This game looks like it is set in the post apocalypse.
Which, honestly, knowing SNK stories...it could be, but you get my drift.

@TicklefistCP 100%. I honestly think bringing this back might sour a lot of people on the series if they haven't played the first and second games. It's fun to see SNK's take on SF characters. That's about it. I remember that this was when I really started noticing awful backgrounds in my fighting games.

I still have 3 copies of the game (1x xbox 2 x PS2.....I accidently brought the 2nd Ps2 copy lpl)

It was inferior to Capcom Vs SNK2 but I still actually liked it. Id probably would have brought it again if they added more content (just a combo trail mode might have been enough)
Its almost tempting just for the online play but Im expecting playerbase will small/die off too quickly to make it worthwhile

Unfortunate. I was hoping to see a capcom vs snk collection by capcom instead. I suppose now it will only have the first 2 cvs titles.
