Earlier in the year, Stellar Blade developer Shift Up revealed that it was reviewing its options, following the action title's immediate commercial success. Both DLC and a sequel were under serious consideration, and now, new evidence suggests that a potential expansion is in the works.
As spotted by Tech4Gamers, Shift Up has posted a job listing for a combat designer — but more specifically, it alludes to the creation of new enemy types. Given that the listing exists in relative isolation, it seems more likely that this is related to DLC, rather than a full-on sequel. Still, it's an exciting prospect all the same.
Obviously, we don't know how significant this supposed DLC will end up being, but Stellar Blade's existing, mostly linear structure lends itself to additional adventures. That said, the game only launched a few months ago — and so it could be a while until we get any official word on what's next.
Would you be up for Stellar Blade DLC? What would you want from a potential expansion? Be sure to time your dodges correctly in the comments section below.

They can have my money now - I'm in, whatever it turns out to be! GOTY for me thus far and I don't see anything dethroning it for the remainder of the year.
I'd rather wait for a full time sequel that advances the story, rather than insignificant DLC.
I'm up for anything that Shift up decides to do, this is proven by their post release content (take note other studios), but to answer the question I would prefer a squel to continue on the story.
Giving it the green light is fine. On the other hand, black lights should be avoided after changing costumes. Or so the people say
I'm there day one. Let's get it!
Peak! GOTY. I'll be there day 1
I’ll take DLC. Can’t get enough of the game.
DLC or sequel I’m down for both!
Did the platinum trophy, had fun, and honestly have no desire to go back for dlc. A sequel would be cool since Eve turned out to be an interesting character. I think they should tone down on the fan service ecchi stuff and let her character shine more.
Wouldn't call this GOTY. I enjoyed RotR, SMT V, Infinite Wealth, Dragon's Dogma more. With more games to come from September on, I think this game just about cracks into the top 10 for 2024.
I'm up for DLC. Love Stellar Blade and would also be up for a proper sequel later down the line!
Yes, i would love a sequel or a hefty DLC. Keep the fan service coming thick and fast and deepen Eve's personality. So far GOTY for me. Only game that may pip it is Astro.
@DETfaninATL I feel the exact same way.
I would love if the DLC also makes the game free roam in all areas after completion. There's so many cool areas and it would be nice to go there without running through ng+ (for a fourth time in my case).
I'm excited for DLC, a sequel, or both! An unrealistic wish would be 1 or 2 more costumes that prioritize looking cool or silly over being horny, but since that is probably out of the question, I can't wait to see what sick new bosses they cook up!

Holy crap! Yes! Anything more! I'll even buy it! Can't get enough!
@DarianStarfrog Dont take it too seriously man, you can still enjoy the game even tho I dont like it
A non-horny boi mode would be nice
DLC is fine, but I am more looking forward to the sequel.
Very good. Hope it's true and I can believe it after what they have said.
I hope, as several others here, there will be a full blown sequel eventually, and this DLC will ease the wait.
Stellar Blade was the game I was excited about bur sceptical to. It's inspirations are some of my all time favs but it being a mobile game company's first console game and all... ell turned out to be a new all time fav game. Well played, Shift Up!
