Secret Level, the upcoming Amazon Prime anthology show executive produced by Deadpool’s Tim Miller, will feature episodes dedicated to PlayStation and hero shooter Concord. There’ll be 15 episodes in all, each inspired by a different game. Other recognised properties include Pac-Man, Spelunky, Dungeons & Dragons, and Mega Man.
Here’s the full list of franchises represented, in alphabetical order:
- Armored Core
- Concord
- Crossfire
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Exodus
- Honor of Kings
- Mega Man
- New World: Aeternum
- PAC-MAN
- PlayStation (Highlighting various PS Studios entities)
- Sifu
- Spelunky
- The Outer Worlds
- Unreal Tournament
- Warhammer 40,000
“Secret Level weaves a tapestry of iconic games across multiple mediums, to tell a series of unique and captivating stories,” explained Vernon Sanders, the head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “Created and led by Tim Miller, Blur Studio, and Supervising Director Dave Wilson, each episode will take our global Prime Video customers on a brand new journey with breathtaking animation and imaginative storytelling.”
As mentioned above, Blur Studio is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here, and you’ll definitely be familiar with their work from a variety of video game trailers. To be honest, even after reading the press materials and watching the trailer we’re not entirely sure what to expect here, but we’re certainly intrigued to say the least.

I'm intrigued by that PlayStation episode. If nothing else it'll be an excuse to demand a new PlayStation AllStars game.
This was the most interesting thing shown today for me.
The only Playstation character I actually caught a glimpse of was Kratos but it was a lot quick cuts.
EDIT: Just rewatched and caught Jin Sakai in there too. Curious how the Playstation episode will work with both characters (and potentially more).
So Concord has it's own dedicated episode separate from the other PS Studios properties? Those are 15 bullet points for the 15 episodes. Sony are really trying to push this game, bless them for trying, I suppose.
I enjoyed Love, Death + Robots so I'm looking forward to it.
Hope they get the creative freedom they need from the license holders to make each episode as memorable as that show.
There’s no way these brands didn’t pay for this. It’s advertising, that’s what it is. Crossfire? It’s painful.
@AdamNovice That game was so much fun for me they just needed to handle the guest characters better. Also the amount of characters they have in their own library is quite big.
Although there were a couple of decent ish reveals (personally I like the look of the new Mafia) but this was easily the most exciting reveal for me. Love, death + robots season 1 and 2 are some of the best shows to come to Netflix
Some of the picks here are honestly really cool (like I never would of expected something like Spelunky or Exodus). Honestly Mega Man being one of the episodes sounds the most exciting to me because I feel like of they going to be very story based, I'm wondering what they're gonna do with it in terms of fleshing out the world of Mega Man, because Mega Man's world and characters are really cool, I just think it doesn't get the chance to fully shine sometimes
I'm interested to watch Armored Core, Sifu, Mega Man, Warhammer, and PS studios.
But gonna give my salute to Sony that they pushed Concord real hard despite the beta numbers showed the game (possibly) will be short lived. This is one of the reason why Sony is one or two step above MS when comes to marketing. They didn't have infinite money like MS but they know how to pushed their games.
I'm keeping an eye out for Mega Man, Pac-Man, Sifu, and of course PlayStation (hopefully they got atleast Ratchet & Clank in there as far as PlayStation IPs I'm personally interested in goes).
Concord will still fail with its gross characters and lackluster player counts for the betas. Perhaps I'm wrong and the modern audience for concord will step up for this game!
'An episode dedicated to beloved PS Studios titles'
Glad to note that Concord is a separate episode, because I was about to object to the word 'beloved' in that tagline.
@Flaming_Kaiser I know right? Ever since Smash Bros Ultimate it's been my "dream game" because Smash was such a love letter to it's characters and worlds. But I didn't have nostalgia for Nintendo hence why I want a PlayStation equivalent or at least something in the same spirit.
@AdamNovice I know right and the game was fun only they took way to long getting characters and we are in need of some colorful PS titles.
