While the future of the Guillemot family business remains unclear, those who picked up Star Wars Outlaws have earned a glimmer of hope. While sales were soft, Ubisoft pledged it's "fully mobilised to swiftly implement a series of updates to polish and improve" the game. The first piece of post-story DLC has been dated, with players getting better acquainted with that old rogue, Lando Calrissian, on 21st November.
This outing, called Wild Card, will see protagonist Kay Vess infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament (thanks, Eurogamer). Ubisoft teases that Vess will "cross paths with the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian. She soon learns that another game is being played."
Wild Card arrives alongside cosmetic bundles Hunter's Legacy and Cartel Ronin, all of which are part of the game's Season Pass. In addition, a free update adding new Contracts for all players will drop the same day.
Did you pick up Star Wars Outlaws? We hear it's a pretty solid game, provided you put in a couple of hours. Risk it all on a single hand in the comments section below.

Do we want a game called SW Outlaws to be the most civilised game in the galaxy?
It's so toothless lol. Has no edges. Unfinished, badly written generic hoshposh.
My grandma could design a game with more grit than Ubisoft
It's an Assassin's Creed clone stripped down to it's most basic gameplay.
It looks bland, it has no edge. It's an outlaw game where you can barely commit crimes and be a real outlaw.
It's "Greedo shot first" turned into a game.
Couldn't imagine complaining this much on every post, what a hobby.
Somebody logged in with two accounts and has the avatar uploaded on the wrong one.
I am really enjoying this game but I wont be purchasing any DLC, the game is big enough as it is and was full price. I want to get onto Warhammer so unless it becomes free (which it won't) I will miss this and the Jaba missions which is a shame.
@yazzika absolutely brilliant, haters gotta hate!!!!
@yazzika oh my goodness, so true lmao
I'm playing this at the moment. It's at its best when it's allowed be an action game. The stealth sections really do suck the life out of the game. I'll finish it but I will not be buying any DLC.
I'm still waiting. I like the atmosphere enough. Just more like $30 enough. Seems it still needs a whole lot of work.
@Mostik @EchoRange Only toxic positivity is allowed, right?
Look what it did to Concord. Definitely a recipe for success.
@yazzika Good joke, but unfortunately it's just a coincidence of fate. I didn't even notice when I posted my comment.
Maybe I should change my avatar though
@Pat_trick Not at all mate, all opinions are valid hence I never block anybody, as you acknowledge it did look very coincidental.
The game certainly has it's flaws but IMO your comments are harsh, practically every job you do is theft or hacking which I think are criminal offences and will put you on the wrong side of the law.
@Mostik Fair opinion. I disagree with you and was disappointed by the lack of criminal activity, but your reasoning does make sense too.
@yazzika well spotted 😀
I hate this game so much that I want to be the first comment on every post about it! That’s how this works, right?
@Pat_trick My positivity isn't toxic enough to make two accounts.
@Mostik there's some jabba missions in the main game
@pushL7 I like the stealth bits I think they're great , the game really isn't as bad as people are making out , which is a shame because I'd love a sequel.
@EchoRange I didn't make two accounts buddy. I've been registered since 2020 and live in the UK. The other person has been registered since 2024 and is from the Netherlands. I have hundreds of comments and this other person has a lot too. You can see our writing style is completely different.
My account name is my real name. I've been made fun of at school for having that name, but being accused of being another person because of an image is on a different level.
I'm flattered you think I'm that creative.
But I guess birds aren't real and the earth is flat, right?
@Shalooda Really? No offence and I get that different people like different things but I've found the stealth awful. I'm a big AC fan but in Outlaws the stealth is really poor. Massive knows action and when I was fighting the Rancor in the game, I kept think this is what the game should be.
@Shalooda Yeah I have missions for the Hutts but haven't seen Jabba yet, pleases me to know I will, I thought he was behind the DLC - nice one buddy 👍
@pushL7 I just think they take more planning in outlaws than AC , there seems to be more options , once you get all the tools in outlaws they really open up, insta fails can also be avoided.
@Mostik there's quite a few cameos direct and in-direct , if your a fan of star wars you're gonna love them.
@Shalooda Great news, Star Wars is the G.O.A.T. and I am loving the cameos & references so far, good to know there is more to come
@yazzika Maybe the game just sucks so much ass that more than one person dislikes it, food for thought.
Looking forward to play this with the pro enhancement patch it’s got in November!
Has Ubisoft tried polishing and improving games before they release to tepid sales? Maybe they should give THAT a try some time.
Aside from the disappointing graphical issues, of which there are many, this game is a decent action adventure. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looks better on my 4K TV than this game does sometimes.
Waiting for a sale
Enjoyed it for a couple hours then found the basic sneaking and stealing loop to be unsatisfying. I'll go back when there's more content and see if it still drives me nuts.
