Sony has announced a trio of new colour schemes for PS5 cover plates and DualSense controllers in what it's calling the Chroma Collection. Check them all out in the above trailer.
These swanky new colours have a pearlescent edge to them, meaning they will show different colours depending on the viewing angle. Chroma Pearl is broadly white, but shifts through cream and pink shades; Chroma Indigo will move between rich blues and purples; and Chroma Teal is all about various green hues.
The controllers will set you back $79.99/€79.99/£69.99, while the PS5 console covers (sadly only available for the slim models) will cost $64.99/€64.99/£54.99. If you're interested, you'll be able to pre-order these starting on 3rd October.

That pearl white pad is so beautiful! 💎 😍
What is up with this slim/pro only bs!?
Shiny! Still, not going to get them most likely.
Thank you Sony for giving me another reason to feed my crippling dualsense addiction.
(That was a joke. Please take addiction seriously)
These colors are delicious.
Wow not gonna lie. The pearl white look so nice
I knew there had to be a reason I decided against the Astro Bot controller! One of each of these, please!
For the first time ever I have been tempted to purchase a console cover but I have the OG fat. Might pick up the teal DualSense though.
I'm planning to get a PS5 Pro this year, so i'll get the Chroma Indigo console covers alongside it (if i have the budget to get them too)
Shame that the covers are not available for the original model
Just another excuse to get people to upgrade their OG consoles. Guess i will be sticking to white. I do like that green one tho.
@Kidfunkadelic83 I can't imagine the FoMo for coloured faceplates being so high that you replace a perfectly working console with a new one really being much of a thing.
I've considered getting one of my boggo DualSense's refinished in something similar to the Indigo one a few times now. That and the Teal remind me of the chameleon colours TVR were so fond of...
@The_Wailing_Doom But the DualSense designs in AstroBot would sell like hotcakes, some of them are really cool!
I'm just happy they come with the disc drive!
Where are the Original disk drive versions?
Thanks for looking after us Sony....
