Assassin's Creed Shadows PS5 1

Ubisoft has reduced the price of its Assassin's Creed Shadows Collector's Edition by $50 after it revealed plans to delay the game and redesign its approach to post-launch support. The French publisher is no longer doing a season pass and an early access phase, both of which was included in the price of the Collector's Edition. The grand physical version will now cost $229.99 instead of the original $279.99 pricepoint and releases on the same day as the standard edition: 14th February 2025.

The Collector's Edition's other contents — which includes a statue of protagonists Naoe and Yasuke, an art book, world map, a life-sized replica of Naoe's katana tsuba, wall scroll, and lithographs — will "mostly remain as initially advertised, though some design elements may change", Ubisoft confirmed.

Not all the contents you see above will be included in the Collector's Edition anymore.

Following the cancellation of the Assassin's Creed Shadows season pass, which was originally going to allow access to two expansions, the publisher shared that anyone who pre-orders the game (no matter what version) will receive its first DLC for free. All versions of the PS5 title now launch on 14th February 2025, in amongst Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
