Update (4/10/24): Beat Games has revealed the full track list for Beat Saber's Britney Spears song pack, and it looks like this:
- ...Baby One More Time
- Circus
- Gimme More
- I'm a Slave 4 U
- Me Against the Music (feat. Madonna)
- Oops! ...I Did It Again
- Overprotected
- Scream and Shout (feat. will.i.am)
- Till the World Ends
- Toxic
- Womanizer
Original Story: Beat Saber, the popular PSVR and PSVR2 rhythm game, is set to receive another licensed song pack, and this time it focuses on one of music's biggest pop stars, Britney Spears. It's set for release on 8th October.
Precisely which of her tracks will be included has yet to be announced, but the teaser trailer does confirm Gimme More will be among them.
We can only assume that most of her other major hits will be present; it wouldn't be complete without the likes of Oops! ...I Did It Again, Toxic, ...Baby One More Time, and Womanizer. There's lots of material for a decent DLC here, so hopefully it's a good group of tunes.
If it's anything like Beat Saber's other DLC, the songs will be available individually as well as bundled together. The packs vary in price but typically go for around £9.99/$12.99.

Down with this "Toxic" behaviour.
Beat me baby one more time
I'm A Slave 4 Beat Saber.
I absolutely love Beat Saber. I have no idea how people could ever play on the hard difficulties. I play on hard and find it hard enough to get above an A at best. How people are playing 2 difficulties higher and getting S's I will never understand how human reflex can move that fast, at all. And the campaign is brutal. MusicSouls.
I can't actually stand Spears, but, I can like music I hate in BeatSaber when it has a really great box setup that feels great with the music. Might be worth it. And I think Toxic at least would be fun to slice to.
Also, where's that Britney super-fan that used to be a regular here, and why are they not the first post?
WHERE’S THE KYLIE PACK
Came for the bad Britney lyrics references, left sated. 😁
Beat saber looks so amazing, if I ever get a VR set then it's the first game I'd get.
@BetaRabbit64 how dare you 😲
@LuXifer It supports 120fps on Quest, not sure about on PSVR2, but it's absolutely a psychedelic experience. Brutal. But if you get in the groove it's amazing. Most insane pack is the Daft Punk pack. Not only are they harder than average, but the tracks are like 10 minutes long and you start getting hypnotic by the time you're in the last quarter and that's when the darned tempo changes and you lose your whole combo and end up a B.
@ItsBritneyB_tch There you are! Right on cue.
I going to grab another VR when its next on sale... If ever. Sold my 1st one when releases dried ul but i feel there's enough out there now to warrant one again. Will deffo have to match the last sale price tho.
If Stronger isn't in the pack then just cancel it.
@NEStalgia Sounds like a blast, and probably a good work-out to boot. I've only seen some gameplay, but the real thing must be even 100x better. The wife has been wanting to try VR for ages, maybe an idea for a x-mas gift. 🤔
I need every single album , especially BLACKOUT era!!!!
@LuXifer Funnily I was a late adopter of Beat Saber. Always saw it as "oh one of those games you show VR to non-VR people to wow them but I'm soooo beyond that and into real VR games!" And then one day tried it out of curiosity and got instantly pathetically hooked and started buying up the DLC music packs lol. You can say "it's the same game with different music" but because the blocks are arranged (some tracks better than others) in ways that "feels" right with the music, every track is really different gameplay. Green Day's Father of All gives a great drumming feel, etc. Makes me really wonder how the real drummer's doing it 5x faster lol.
@Kidfunkadelic83 got it in the sale and don't regret it buddy. There's alot more games now and beat saber is always fun to jump on.
Are you kidding me?! I think I just died and went to heaven.
@NEStalgia Also not a fan of Britney but I also really love what I would consider terrible music when played on Beat Saber. In fact most of the music is trash imo but turns out trashy music can actually be really, really fun to slash blocks to.
Speaking of long maps(?) have you tried Angel Voices? One of my favs for sure just because it's so grueling but satisfying at the same time. Expert is the sweet spot for me where it's not so challenging it's frustrating but I will say I used to be fairly terrible and one tip I'd give is do not be afraid to slow a song down to learn it. Giving myself that opportunity for my brain to catch up with the patterns really helped.
Was always a Christina Aguilera fan myself.
@NEStalgia beat saber is a case of the more you play the better you'll get. I know that's true of anything but in beat saber's case it's very surprising how quickly you can ramp up from not even understanding how people manage expert+, to doing themself with relative ease.
Well except Camilla ones. And sandstorm. I haven't got the faintest idea how anyone does them on expert+.
@Balosi I can kind of believe it, it's true with any rhythm game in general (and instruments) but still, it's just inhuman . Especially when it starts switching sides my impulses just are not fast enough to think it though! What's that last track on the electronic mix tape that just throws everything on opposite sides at once? Not sure I'll ever complete that on even hard let alone expert lol.
@zupertramp Daang, I can barely handle hard. I can consistently get Bs and often As, got one S, can't remember what track. But expert, I really didn't know ..
Haven't tried that track! One thing I do enjoy though is just the regular tracks vs the campaign. The gimmick rules are interesting but brutally hard and imo not as fun as plowing through the song normally.
The one thing my beat saber obsession did for me though is encourage me to go back to Rocksmith, too. Was on the fence but ubi emailed last week the biggest one year subscription discount I've seen from them for it only through ps store. I'm really playing on PC, but it applies to all. I fell off that one because I didn't have a PC to handle it last time I tried and it wasn't on console, but if I can take my newfound rhythm game affinity and brush on on the old axe, it's awesome!
@AdamNovice There's always one..... 😂
@NEStalgia Hey someone has to be the Xtina Stan lol
@Jswift56 yeah man, sold my origional one a few months after launch so waaaay before BS came out. Its one id get for sure. I like rythem type games. Pistol whip was probarbly my fave of the games i had. Would really have loved blood and truth to have ported from the origional VR tho.
Quotation marks.
@NEStalgia yeah I think I completed the campaign, or a great deal of it I don't really remember, and while I think it actually does help you get better in some ways* I agree the real fun is just free playing whatever songs you want at your preferred difficulty.
*There was one campaign level in particular where you had to basically move as little as possible and getting the hang of essentially using just your wrists was more difficult for me than it maybe should have been but I think that was one I remember really helping me get better.
@zupertramp Yeah, I just realized I've done some Expert ones via the campaign and didn't know it. I think I have 3 or 4 levels left at the top of the campaign ladder. So I did a lot of it. Oh, I know the one you're talking about with moving just the wrists. It was tense but I had no problem with that one, I think I had only half the max motion on try one. The ones I HATED and avoided, were the ones where you had to move your arms a lot. I guess I tend to use minimal motions by default and all that flailing around was not fun at all.
I kind of hate the ones you're supposed to miss a certain amount of blocks and badly slice a certain amount. It becomes too much about watching the health bar, and not enough about playing beat saber.
For the regular ones, I hate the ones I do perfect the whole way through, and then the finale at the last 30 seconds throws a million blocks in a new pattern at you and you end up missing a bunch and losing at the very end....that's the most frustrating of all!
@NEStalgia lol well flailing about was no problem for me. that i had down for better or worse. definitely opposites in that way.
and yeah i hated those where they want you to purposely miss so many as an objective. but even there I guess it gets you better at monitoring the other parts of the screen (or something).
iirc correctly Burning Sands and Overkill, both of which i absolutely love on expert, have sections of sabotage toward the end. so yeah, i know what you mean, very frustrating.
@Balosi those Camilla ones are insane. I largely steer clear. Too deflating.
Oops I Beat it again?
@nessisonett
Just checking... your referring to the original, one and only Kylie right?
If so, yes x1mill. I'd love 'What Do I Have to Do' as a top pick off the top of my head on Beat Saber!
You?
@Flobbots I don’t know any other Kylie than the original and best! To be honest, for Beat Sabre then the best would probably be Shocked, has a great beat on it.
Suppose there's plenty of people that will like it. Wish they did a Twenty One Pilots pack.
That's a lot of tracks, that'll be on the pricier side of the packs for sure. Not sure I need that much Britney in my life. Might just pick up Toxic and a few other tracks.
@Balosi @zupertramp Tempo-Katana....OMG I tried that on Expert and I look like a cat going after a laser. I don't think that's humanly possible and that's not even Expert+!
The one big complaint I have with beat saber though is I think the difficulty ratings are extremely inconsistent. Hard to Expert on Tempo-Katana is like 1/3 the blocks. Some "Expert" songs I can get A's on fairly easily. Meanwhile some Hard songs seem impossible. I do think there's a definite problem with the difficulty ratings. It shouldn't be possible to have Expert tracks be easier than other Hard tracks.
@NEStalgia yeah the difficulty settings aren't a guarantee. Camilla songs in particular, expert is definitely harder than other expert+ songs.
Paid dlc songs are usually easier than the base game ones, I got good at expert + finding easier ones and practicing them first.
It's hard to explain, but you really do just get the movements ingrained if you keep playing, you reach the point where you can get through a new expert+ song first try once you've learnt what to expect.
Edit : I think the Camilla songs are supposed to be beat saber's 'hard' mode. They seem to make a point of being a lot harder than the others.
@Enuo Stronger isn't there. ☹️ I'm gutted for you and me.
I mean, I'm delighted that Gimme More is there BUT, no Stronger. Bad choice.
Songs of Synth Riders are much better.
