Guerrilla Games has announced its latest title, LEGO Horizon Adventures, has now gone gold.
Co-developed by Studio Gobo, the plastic retelling of Aloy's first quest is now ready to roll, as confirmed on social media:
Going gold basically means that development of the base game is done, and it's ready for deployment upon the game's 14th November release date. There will likely be post-launch updates, as there always are nowadays, but the game is good to go.
LEGO Horizon Adventures shrinks down the events of Horizon Zero Dawn into a mostly linear action platformer, playable in local or online co-op. You'll venture out and do battle with the series' animal-like machines while collecting studs and exploring a world that's fully constructed using true-to-life LEGO pieces.
We recently went hands-on with the game, and came away pretty impressed with what we played:

Fantastic news!. Guerilla are one of the best devs around. Love everything they do and can’t wait for this. It will be my first ever Lego game 😆
Maybe in a sale… a deep sale.
Hope people have so much fun playing this ^__^. Personally it's not for me I'm a Horizon STAN but I don't know why I've never really been a LEGO guy never got the bug. Gotta wait on Horizon 3 I just want more cute Aloy and Seyka romance they're so cute together 😭
Ive been low key excited for this. I think this is gonna be a good time..
I'm a big Lego fan and a mid Horizon fan, and I still have no idea what to think about this game. I'm really curious to see reviews.
My kid (old enough to vote) preordered it, and the family PS5 is still her primary PS5, so I'll get to play it, too.
Looking forward to it - Lego games are typically loaded with humor as well as some simple puzzles. Definitely worth a look. Not expecting GoY material, just a fun distraction for a while, and I suspect it will do well at that. I'll also probably be replaying the first game's PS5 version - not sure if it's brilliant or stupid to have them drop so close to each other.
Got it pre-ordered for me on PlayStation and giving it to my nephew for Christmas on Switch. Looking forward to it!
