Sony has announced Marvel's Spider-Man 2 as its next PC port, arriving on Steam and the Epic Games Store early next year on 30th January 2025. PC specialist studio Nixxes has "optimised" the PS5 title for PC, and you can catch the first slice of footage in the trailer above. As is standard now, a PSN account will be required to play the game.
This is the same game that was released for PS5 in 2023, right down to carbon copy pre-order bonuses and an optional Digital Deluxe Edition. The title sold 11 million copies on Sony's system, so the PC port will only help to boost that total further — though, it has been noted how the excitement surrounding Sony's PC ports has begun to dwindle. In our Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 review, we called it a "familiar but fantastic superhero sequel".
In a PlayStation Blog post, community manager at Nixxes, Julian Huijbregts, said the team is bringing Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to PC with "a suite of enhanced features, including enhanced ray-tracing options, to take full advantage of a variety of setups and configurations".
