33 Characters Confirmed for Marvel Rivals PS5 Launch

Marvel Jesus is a glaring omission. DLC?

Was it confirmed if this will be a 5vs5 or 6vs6 (or other config). Was a huge fan of OW but the transition to 5vs5 (and other stuff) killed it for me.
Also, was it confirmed if there will be classes like tank, dps and support?

That's a huge roster. I hope the game will be balanced at launch!

OK, Overwatch copy (multiplayer at all) is a stop sign for me. And missing Wolverine is only confirmation of zero interest.

It’s not a shooter it’s a hero based game similar to how Overwatch is.
Cap is in the game and he’s a hand to hand combatant hero, same with Hulk, Black Panther and Magik

@AdamantiumPriest it's not that he should be removed. It's that these characters make very little sense for this type of game.

seems like a case of quantity over quality, the balance seemed awful during beta

@naruball OK does Marvel characters headlessly shooting each other make more sense? I think, in case of this game, logic is something that happens elsewhere.

6 more characters? Bet Wolverine is the last one they show off, I'd guess Hawkeye is also among them; Daredevil, Elektra and Iron Fist are also easy guesses that will get in eventually if not in those spots. Deadpool is def getting his own themed season next year with Deadpool Corp costumes for various characters.

I hope we get some more weird characters like Ursa Major.

@djlard oh, don't get me wrong. I totally agree. It's one of the few Marvel games that I won't even try for this very reason. But you gotta admit, Storm, Spider-man and Iron Man make more sense for range attacks.

@Dragoon1994 doesn't Captain America throw his shield as a range attack in most games? I don't recall any similar moves that Wolverine has used in past games.

Maybe so but he mostly has physical moves based on hand to hand combat.

BTW Black Panther, Thor and especially Hulk are typical ranged characters (sarcasm).
