The fifth and final DLC level for Astro Bot is now available to play. Coming as part of the latest game update, the free new stage, Rising Heat, rounds out Team Asobi's collection of time trial stages.
The level has you racing through a lava-filled environment as you clamber up a cliff using Astro's monkey power-up to climb handholds. At the end of the stage are two more Special Bots waiting to be rescued — if you can reach them in time, of course.
Rising Heat joins Building Speed, Let It Slide, Spring-Loaded Run, and Helium Heights in the game's Stellar Speedway galaxy, concluding the DLC for Astro Bot. Whether more additional content is in the works is currently unknown, but there are still some franchises mentioned in the game's credits still yet to be represented, so there might be more to come.

I hope they release a whole new galaxy dlc with new PlayStation themed levels
Oh no those Bananas again.. I don‘t get how I can grab the upper ones? My game always marks and grabs the bananas underneath, not the top ones?
@Cerny tilt the controller more.
@JimmyRiddle @Cerny One thing to remember is that you can toggle on an option in the settings that replaces motion controls with the left stick, which makes climbing quite a lot easier.
Thanks! Didn‘t knew this was a motion control thing 🤠 I hope we get a DLC
I struggled beating the blue bird on this one. Going to take a few goes to get that 2nd bot here I think
Now we wait for a Final Fantasy DLC expansion...
It was the toughest level, but really enjoyed the DLC. Hope more is to come...not speedruns, though. XD
@Cerny You can also turn on tilt assist in the settings. I did that and it made it a lot easier. Still was tough, though.
This one is my least favorite of the bunch, but it’s still fun. Astro Bot is such a good IP. Really hope we see more from it in the future. I would buy whatever is next day one!
Definitely turn the motion controls off for this one. So so much easier.
@IceClimbersMain …and the Ada Wong bot to the Resident Evil group 😀👍
Hope this game goes on sale on blackfriday
Just got it. Hate the monkey rounds but I got it.
The times you get between having controller tilt assist off vs on is quite dramatic. Also turned off trigger effect for this. I was barely beating the birds when I had controller tilt assist off. My total time overall is 3.17.092. I can lower that even further by taking the last two speed runs(Spring-Loaded Run and Helium Heights) before Rising Heat more seriously than I did previously. I didn't really try on those like I did the first two.
Here's to hoping we can eventually get dlc levels like the main part of the game instead of just speed runs(even though I would welcome more of them). Even if that means having to charge a little for it.
