Mortal Kombat 1 has been trucking along since its launch last year, adding a bunch of DLC fighters as well as the Khaos Reigns pack. The next character in line is Ghostface from the Scream movie series, and you can see him in action in the new trailer above.
Ghostface's move set is very stabby and has various moves involving other versions of the character, referencing the many antagonists who have donned the disguise in the films. His Fatality, seen at the end of the trailer, is particularly clever, breaking the fourth wall in a fun way.
Those with early access can get their hands on the new fighter from 19th November, while he'll be released for all on 26th. If you have the Khaos Reigns Bundle, Expansion, or Kollection, you'll have access to Ghostface, or you can purchase the character individually.

Can't wait to utilize that fatality and get stabbed to death alone in the dark!!
One of my biggest critiques of MK1 as a person who likes watching it has been how still movement looks. This.... this was great! It was funny, crazy and unique especially the way Ghostface sprints with his knife. MK is at its best when it remembers it's a gory comedy.
This is for all the people who complained that they didn’t know who Homelander, Omni-Man or Peacemaker were.
The fatality is incredible.
That fatality was n.i.c.e.haha.its the 👻 ghostface killah enter the 36th chamber.word up son
I don’t really have any intention of picking up Mortal Kombat but I love finding out what they’ve added and watching the videos. Absolutely brilliant.
For me personally I hate these guest characters it also makes the MK characters look weak. But I have to be honest I did not like MK1 at all.
He sure doesn't strike me as being in any way relevant to the MK universe (but none of the guest characters really have...) but he sure does look fun!
As an aside, holding a knife pointing down like that, you're more likely to slip and slice your own fingers off than anything else...
