Announced at the start of this year, the project commonly known as 'Dawnwalker' will be revealed via livestream on the 13th January.
This is the dark fantasy RPG from Rebel Wolves — the Polish studio that was set up by former The Witcher developers. It's being published by Bandai Namco, and it runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The publisher's official press release calls the game a "sandbox action-RPG", with "a strong focus on story and narrative". What else did you expect?
The event itself is going to be around 45 minutes long, providing information on the main setting of Vale Sangora, along with what sounds like a deep dive into the project's origins and eventual goals. A "tiny glimpse into gameplay" is also promised.
And just to be clear, the official name is The Blood of Dawnwalker — and it's set to be the "first chapter" in a "brand new role-playing saga". Ambitious...
