We don’t know why, but we expected Double Dragon Revive to be nearer to release than this. The title’s actually targeting a 23rd October, 2025 release date, which is almost a year away. Nevertheless, pre-orders for the title are available now.
There are two options: a $34.99 standard edition or a $49.99 Deluxe Edition. The latter, if you’re curious, includes 24 hours early access, additional character colours, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack. Pre-orders for both versions of the game will include access to the bonus game, Double Dragon Dodgeball.
For those who haven’t been following this game, it’s effectively a reimagining of the 1987 classic. In addition to modern visuals and refined controls, it’s also promising the tactical depth of a contemporary fighting game, meaning you’ll need to learn attack patterns and hone your tactics in order to survive against unprecedented odds.

The game is looking really bland, like the default character of "create a character" model in some games. The best double dragon is double dragon advance, double dragon 1 arcade, and river city girls 2 double dragon free dlc imo 😃
Yehhhh I don’t know man back in the late 80s Double Dragon was like the biggest arcade beat em up that even spawned back then a rare enough movie but nobody has rlly managed to revive it.
Wow, that’s pretty far off. I thought it looks pretty bland but maybe it could get polished up in the meantime.
Possibly they take more time to polished the animation / graphic.
I hope it turns out but the trailer was cringe.
I like the one they did on PS3 with music tapes.
Sorry but the graphic style sucks. Don't give me any Double Dragon vibes. It would only works if they kept some retro feeling and touches of the original style.
