After making a series of popular, robust off-road sim games, what's the logical next step? A sim in which you finally build some dang roads.
From the team behind MudRunner, SnowRunner, and Expeditions, RoadCraft is another physics-based vehicle sim, and this time, it's all about building basic infrastructure in the aftermath of a disaster.
Set across eight big, open maps — each having suffered a different disaster — it's your job to restore roads, power lines, and more using a range of specialist vehicles and machinery.
One example is a destroyed bridge over a river. You'll need to scout it out, gather the materials needed, and then rebuild it using a fleet of massive vehicles.
Obviously, reaching sites like these may be tricky, so you'll also need to make safe pathways by clearing debris and building roads.
It looks like a mix of traversing tough terrain, as you'd expect, along with resource management, expanding your range of vehicles, and gradually turning each map into a fully operational location.
The overview trailer above goes into much more detail, but it's safe to say if you're a fan of this type of simulator, RoadCraft is looking like another meaty game to sink your teeth into.
It's due for release on PS5 on 20th May 2025. Are you excited for RoadCraft? Navigate into the comments section below.

This is shaping up to be GOTY for me.
Down for this! These guys are the best in the business when it comes to off-road sims! Currently doing a platinum run on Snowrunner on the PRO, stunning!
Oooohhh I want this!!
This is a dream game for my 10yo self. Since I first saw the specialist vehicles that drive around on the airport fields I was hyper curious about all of them. If that would have been out around 1998 I haven't had time for Metal Gear Solid haha!
Day one for certain, I loved Mudrunner and Snowrunner but had to skip Expeditions. If the support will be anything like Snowrunner we should be looking at years of DLCs (which I still need to finish)
The longer I watched the trailer, the more it started to feel like a real job. How much are they paying us per hour to play this game?
Actually yes. Looks more interesting than Expeditions
@GirlVersusGame I was really disappointed with Expeditions and bounced off it. Went back to Snowrunner which is my favourite chillout game.
Definitely want to give this new one a go though.
Wake me up if road sweeper dlc appears.
Cool premise. Generic name.
If it’s anything as good as Snowrunner, I’m in
Expeditions was a disappointment for me. Loved snowrunner. Came out during the pandemic and I played this for hours.
This one is gonna be a day one.
I haven't pre ordered a game in a long time but sign me up for this!!
