After making a series of popular, robust off-road sim games, what's the logical next step? A sim in which you finally build some dang roads.

From the team behind MudRunner, SnowRunner, and Expeditions, RoadCraft is another physics-based vehicle sim, and this time, it's all about building basic infrastructure in the aftermath of a disaster.

Set across eight big, open maps — each having suffered a different disaster — it's your job to restore roads, power lines, and more using a range of specialist vehicles and machinery.

One example is a destroyed bridge over a river. You'll need to scout it out, gather the materials needed, and then rebuild it using a fleet of massive vehicles.

Obviously, reaching sites like these may be tricky, so you'll also need to make safe pathways by clearing debris and building roads.

It looks like a mix of traversing tough terrain, as you'd expect, along with resource management, expanding your range of vehicles, and gradually turning each map into a fully operational location.

The overview trailer above goes into much more detail, but it's safe to say if you're a fan of this type of simulator, RoadCraft is looking like another meaty game to sink your teeth into.

It's due for release on PS5 on 20th May 2025. Are you excited for RoadCraft? Navigate into the comments section below.
