Monster Hunter Wilds is out in a month, launching 28th February on PS5, an excellent excuse to get your old gaming gang back together, especially if it happens less and less as the years continue to roll past. In a live-action trailer that glamourises that usually mundane act, Capcom isn't making the waiting any easier.
Like the photogenic people above, when we need gaming allies, we fire off a call-to-arms into a long-running group chat established primarily for such a purpose. Unlike the above, it's received by a group of decidedly dubious individuals who can be relied on to provide (as much as it physically pains us to heap such praise) some small amount of gaming skill, unlikely to be doing anything nearly as glamorous as what's happening here.

Then, if time and circumstances allow, they will gather, and good times will doubtless be had. Not since Helldivers 2's recent major update has the usual hail gone out (Oi, get in); before that, it was Space Marine 2.
Will you be gathering your gaming inner circle for Monster Hunter Wilds? Do you aspire to lead the kind of life video game publishers have imagined for you? Let us know in the comments section below.

I would definitely buy a palico costume for my cat but the lil dude hates costumes.
Game isn't for me though. I thought World was a slog for a single player but seeing videos of MP with friends I can see why people love it.
I dont think i will be picking up the new one. Something didnt sit right with me with in and ive still got world and rise to get through.
Hard not to giggle at this video: MHW made it a huge pain in the butt to play with friends.
@VaultGuy415 yeah the system was very clunky.
I just made a "squad" with my son and every time one of us played we'd just jump in a squad session, if one wasn't active it made one for you.
Judging from the beta, the mp aspect will hopefully be a bit better. Not something I used massively anyway.
If I can't solo a monster, I wont burden other players with my lame ass.
They better make it co-op friendly then, unlike every other Monster Hunter game released.
If I want to play with a friend I want to be able to jump in and start playing with a friend. Don't tell me "One of you hadn't played X amount of hours of single player story missions so you can't do the fun stuff together"
When I envision a group of friends playing Monster Hunter together, these people don’t look like the people in my mind. 😅
And players want capcom to hurry up and make Dino crisis remakes😭
@breakneck mh is always better with people then solo
Ew, other people 🤮
I'd rather go wild in a new Dino Crisis game. When i play MH i go solo or play with randoms. World was fantastic for that. Rise less so.
@Kidfunkadelic83 I feel the same about Wilds. It just didn't feel like Monster Hunter to me. Very bland without depth.
I've been on the fence. I really like the solo game, but I also really for the first time, played a lot of MP with World. I'm old so I don't have these new age super friends to play with me...
