With Warhorse's medieval WRPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II thundering towards us, charging home on 4th February on PS5, it only seems appropriate to arm oneself for the occasion. A coin engraved with the Latin phrase and the game's creed, Audentes Fortuna Iuvat (fortune favours the brave), embedded in the pommel of an authentic replica sword, has been revealed by the developer; made to historical 15th-century specifications, naturally.
Forged by some of the finest blacksmiths in all Bohemia Czechia, in partnership with Wulflund, the Invictus (undefeated) is the official blade of KC: II and has raised the bar for merchandise we'll be expecting from devs moving forward. At €665, or around $415.90, it's not even that far out of reach of our grasping peasant paws.

Forged in the full tang fashion of the day (crafted from a single piece of steel extending from tip to pommel), the blade is historically classified as a Type XVI and would have been worn and used throughout the High Middle and into the Late Middle Ages. It comes in a remarkable case with a certificate of authenticity from Warhorse, and a matching leather scabbard can be purchased separately. What are you going to do, carry it around unsheathed?

I have to admit this is cool and I’m almost tempted to buy it lol
Beautiful. But it's all about the mace in KCD. The armour smasher.
Bit expensive for a replica sword , you can get an official AC altair sword for less than half that over at raven forge , they do witcher swords as well for about 250
@lazarus11 I was going to say that I think the selling point (beyond KCD merch) is this will be a high carbon spring steel sword, hence the price being more in line with sparring swords, rather than a stainless steel replica which would absolutely not be safe and would break under the load of swings. But the website listing says not to be used for sparring so 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@Ravix even so , you can get a Damascus steel long sword for £300
@lazarus11 yeah. I think the price would be okay if it legitimately said/was battle ready, and had the unique design element for KCD on top of that. This one is not the kind of design I was after though, so it is irrelevant for me personally.
Good sparring swords seem to be at least £400 and upwards now though, which is why it surprised me that this one wasn't battle ready at the price it is listed.
