Rusty Rabbit, a side-scrolling action adventure from NetEase and Nitroplus, is coming to PS5 on 17th April, 2025.
While there's an English version of the release date trailer, we've embedded the Japanese one, because the Japanese dub stars voice actor Takaya Kuroda in the lead role — best known in the West as the deep voice of Kazuma Kiryu in Yakuza/Like a Dragon.
Kuroda provides the voice for Stamp, a fluffy white rabbit who pilots a scrapper mech in a post-apocalyptic world. While searching for valuable scrap in Smokestack Mountain, he finds a trace of his estranged daughter, and begins a quest to search for her.
The game looks like a blend of smashing through blocks of metal scrap, platforming, and engaging in combat with various robotic baddies in Metroidvania style.
The mech is customisable with different weapons and tools, meaning you'll be able to explore different areas depending on what you equip.
It all looks quite cool, but we're mostly here for the Japanese VO, to be honest. Hopefully the game can live up to Kuroda's booming tones.

But will the bunny sing Baki Mitai?
@Danloaded Asking the important questions here!
“Game With No Dialogue Hires Famous Voice Actor to Speak No Lines for Marketing Apppeal”
Looks a little like F.I.S.T which was really good.
Can't wait to fight Kuze
@rjejr that should have been the description for MGS5 Phantom Pain
My headcanon is that Kiryu is dreaming he's a mech piloting rabbit while in a coma.
Looks like a decent game too but I hope he speaks more often. He doesn't even throw his voice so it's straight up Kiryu.
I could buy this only to hear kyriu if the game really has dialogues
Yo. Kiryu-chan!
This reminds me of that Metroidvania game called F.I S.T.
That's a headline I never thought I'd read ever.
Looks like a fun Metroidvania.
Funny hearing Kiryu's voice come out of a rabbit, but I guess he does have that iconic Kiryu furrowed eyebrow.
I saw the trailer for this on the Marketplace ages ago and insta recognised Kiryu.
Now we need to see Kiryu in a bunny outfit sitting on a mecha in the LaD games.
@Lup FIST was so overlooked. Great metroidvania! Hope this is good too.
