Rebellion has shared another in-depth look at its upcoming PS5, PS4 mystery title Atomfall, with release now exactly two weeks away — or just 11 days if you get the Deluxe Edition. This latest look is a 20-minute gameplay walkthrough from an "experienced player" within the British development house, and charts a course through the Casterfell Woods.
This is the same part of the game we explored in our recent Preview, where we called Atomfall a "must-play mystery". We aren't a professional Atomfall player (yet), though, so this deep-dive covers sections and mechanics we may have missed during our play session.
"Having played a section of the early game for around 90 minutes, Atomfall is proving to be the real deal," we said. "The alternate universe proves gripping, and the mystery at hand a constant source of intrigue and excitement. If the full title shapes up in the same fashion, then this will be no sleeper hit — it'll get all the love and attention it seemingly deserves."
Atomfall releases for PS5 and PS4 on 27th March 2025, or 24th March with the Deluxe Edition. It releases around the same time as The First Berserker: Khazan and just after Assassin's Creed Shadows, but will you be making time for Atomfall? Let us know your plans in the comments below.

Bow means insta-buy for me. I wanted one in Fallout 4, I'll settle for one in English Fallout.
This looks really good.
Skill Up had a very glowing preview for this, which has changed my mind about this game (for the better).
It almost plays like a fall out games which is a good thing.word up son
So many games, so little time! Wanderstop, AC shadows, and Atomfall are all calling me!
When you say “Pro” in the title do you mean PS5 Pro footage?
@OldGamer999 I also wondered but I’m assuming it means pro player footage 🤷♂️
@Mikey856
That’s what I’m thinking now.
The word “Pro” should be used carefully in these headlines.

@OldGamer999 Nah, the video title reveals the gameplay to be "experienced player gameplay".
Very much looking forward to how this plays out and great to have a home setting for a change.
Nothing says England, like a cricket bat to the head
Very interested in atomfall,it does look different and it's made by rebellion, as I love playing their sniper elite series as I'm currently playing through resistance,yes I think I'll definitely pick this up it does look gd
This looks genuinely wonderful. I’m struggling to find time to play games these days, but I’m looking forward to all the games that will be waiting for me when I do have the time for them. Juggling this one, AC Shadows, Split Fiction, Lost Records, South of Midnight, and Clair Obscur all before Doom shall be interesting... and that’s without knowing what’s in store with the Switch 2.
There’s parts of this that reminds me what it felt like to play Fallout 3 all those years ago while having similar-ish aspects and also being completely different all at the same time.
Pre ordered the edition that unlocks on the 24th. Way excited.
This looks fab, and not just because I've got heavily into Fallout 4 recently.
Be interested in seeing the differences between the PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 display options.
This may be my next pickup. Waiting to hear some full accounts though. As sniper elite 5, while fun, was very simplistic.
Something about the main characters hands is throwing me off, but I can’t put my finger on what it is.
I can’t be the only one unimpressed by this game.. everything is choppy and laggy.. yeah the grass looks nice but blocky animations all around.. I love the Sniper Elite series.. even Resistance.. but if we’re being honest, they all have those same same blocky animations and buggy npcs..
Hope I’m wrong tho and hope they sell well enough because I’m hoping for a Sniper Elite game built on a better/completely different engine than this.. this reminds me of Fallout 3 or something
I seriously debating buying a gaming monitor, hiding it in the work office and throwing the PS5 in a padded bag so I can play during downtime(work internet is just lousy enough the portal is hit or miss) so I can catch up on games I'm looking forward to.
Going to be at least a year or two before I can get to this with my "yet to get to play list"
I'll never understand how people think "there's no games"
@WolfyTn
It kind of does look like Fallout 3/Vegas with graphics mods.
Sort of hoping for some hilarious bugs in the vain of Bethesda nonsense
This was preordered initially because Rebellion makes excellent games and they are excellent developers. The premise and gameplay made this a no brainer.
