Monster Hunter Wilds launched at the tail end of last week, and it's been a monumental success already, having sold 8 million copies in just three days.
While there's plenty of content in the game for players to chew on, Capcom has now kickstarted a weekly schedule of Event Quests, introducing fresh missions to complete that'll reward you with various in-game items and materials.
The first batch of Event Quests is live now; the first has you hunting a Yian Kut-Ku, earning yourself the materials to craft the Mimiphyta α headgear, while the second, a Quematrice hunt, rewards you with Kunafa Cheese, a supplementary ingredient you can add to food when you grill a meal.
Each Event Quest is only live for a limited amount of time; some will last one week, while others will be around a bit longer.
You can keep tabs on current and future Event Quests via this handy website, or simply log into the game to see what's available.

It’s nice that they’re really supporting the game. Weekly event quests, a roadmap for the seasonal title updates and a major expansion coming, along with a wide selection of cosmetic DLCs from day one.
It’s really nice just to have a good old fashioned game when other companies are trying to stuff Live Service garbage down our throats. Here’s to you, capcom, for keeping the dream alive.
I can finally make my Sandy from Greece outfit with this thing on my head that looks like hair but isn’t.
Oh... FOMO. Great...so much for taking your time.
@Nem If its like World they will cycle in and out so they will come back
This is how live service games work that everyone usually complains about. Not that I'm complaining, I'm always happy to come back and do some more hunts.
I am having a blast with this wonderful game. The difficulty perks up juuuuuust enough at High Rank.
