Moon Studios, the developer behind the Ori series and the upcoming PS5 game No Rest for the Wicked, has purchased its independence from GTA publisher, Take-Two Interactive. The move will allow Moon Studios to "execute our vision without restrictions".
No Rest for the Wicked, which is currently in Early Access, was set to be published by Private Division, as a subsidiary of the monolithic Take-Two (thanks, Eurogamer). Following Private Division's own sale late last year, now some four months later, Moon Studios has announced that it will perform its own publishing duties for the upcoming action-RPG. The announcement comes alongside a major update for the in-development title; a big day for the studio, indeed.
What do you think of Moon Studios now being a free agent? Are you looking forward to No Rest for the Wicked coming to PS5? Let us know in the comments section below.

Great news, wish nothing but the best for them.
So tempted to get this game on my deck. I adored the art style of this game
Wish them all the best.
Really hope this decision works out for them, looking at the game I think that it will… but you never know these days.
I bought this game on Steam when it first went early access. It has a lot of potential. I would describe it as Diablo souls like.
Okay... so where is No rest for the wicked?
I always find it weird they had to purchase something they created 😒
This game been in early access for how long now? It's been so long I forgot I had it wish listed lol
@djlard Steam
@ChrisDeku unfortunately
@djlard It's not out anywhere fully, but it is on Early Access on Steam. Probably better waiting for the full release. Though £24.49 on Steam is mighty tempting.
@themightyant It depends on release of Path of Exile 2. I don't steal time...
Awesome. No Rest For the Wicked didn’t wow me in trailers, but, if it’s from the team that made Ori, I’ll buy it as soon as it’s on consoles. The Ori games are two of the most impressive games I’ve ever played.
I hope the 1.0 console release isn’t too far off.
I wonder if the Ori titles are being ported to PS5. I'm guessing Microsoft owns them, so they should be on their to do list.
No Rest for the Wicked looks great so far! Would love the Ori games ported to PS4/PS5 as well. Pretty please.
The game looks good, can't wait to play it on my ps5
@tangyzesty Yes this, I can't believe it that the ori games aren't available on ps4 & ps5 yet. I already have it on my pc and switch but I want to play it 4K on my tv or playing it portable on ps portal (I prefer the ps portal analogue and dpad stick compared to switch).
