PS Plus

Dragon Age: The Veilguard marks one of the biggest PS Plus Essential drops for some time, based both on its general quality and how it was only released for PS5 a handful of months ago. It's an update important enough that you may be willing to drop what you're currently playing to experience it now, but you don't need to wait until Tuesday, 4th March to start playing it.

Available via the PS Store, a Dragon Age: The Veilguard character creator app can be downloaded for free that lets you create your custom hero ahead of time. This in-depth creation tool can create everything from the beautiful to the truly grotesque, depending on what kind of person you wish to make.

The main game opens with this same character creator screen, so if you want a head start on the RPG experience, you can download the app early now and skip that option when Dragon Age becomes available via PS Plus Essential. This can be done by importing the character you make in the app once you reach the screen in question. The app can be downloaded from the PS Store now, and also lets you pick your character's race, class, and backstory.

Considered an 8/10 experience in our Dragon Age: The Veilguard PS5 review, PS Plus Essential users have the "best BioWare RPG since Mass Effect 3" to look forward to. "This is a gorgeous and gripping adventure, backed by a cast of endearing heroes and deliciously devious villains," we concluded.
