The second season of hit live service shooter Marvel Rivals is almost upon us, and that means there are two new characters and an avalanche of fresh outfits to look forward to.

This teaser trailer gives us our first taste of newcomer Emma Frost and Ultron, as familiar faces descend upon Krakoa for the Hellfire Gala.

For those of you who haven’t studied your X-Men stories, the Hellfire Gala is a recurring event where non-mutants are invited to celebrate mutant culture during an evening party. As you’d expect, there are all kinds of lavish threads teased in this trailer.

Here’s the official blurb: “Stranded in the year 2099 by a raging temporal storm, the fate of Krakoa hangs in the balance, its ecosystem suffering from dangerous chronal energy.

“Can a night of glittering festivities bring unity over fine dining and dazzling conversation? Who among the attendees possesses ulterior motives or solely seeks to party? And who is the uninvited guest?”

The season will get underway from 11th April, with more information expected to be unveiled in the coming week.
