Already considered a "must-play" for PSVR2 enthusiasts by us, the VR version of Hitman will take a new patch later this week that improves the virtual reality edition further and irons out any loose ends.

In terms of actually upgrading the VR version itself, the update will improve the audio and haptic feedback in relation to your weapon holsters. Then, the patch works tirelessly to clean up over 100 bugs and glitches, with fixes for issues like crashes relating to saving and loading.

The update will go live on Thursday, 10th April. The full patch notes will be shared then, but there's also updated aiming, fewer "fade to black" instances, and more to look forward to.

When we tested Hitman in PSVR2 last week, we said: "Hitman: World of Assassination in VR is a massive step up from previous VR attempts, utilising the sharp display and pinpoint motion tracking of the PSVR2. If you’ve already played through IO’s incredible trilogy, then donning the VR perspective will feel like a brand new game."
