PlayStation has officially announced The Last of Us Complete — a newly packaged collection that includes both The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on PS5.
Complete will be available later today through the PS Store. The digital version is priced at $99.99 / £94.99.
A physical collector's edition has also been announced. It's being released on the 10th July, and it'll be exclusive to PlayStation Direct, priced at $119.99 / £109.99.
The physical edition includes a snazzy steelbook case that houses two discs — one for each game — alongside a collection of the comic series and four art prints.

It's not complete, it's missing The Last of Us Online. 😭
Dang there might not be a part 3, what a depressing ending if so. Maybe we get more games in the universe, be a shame to waste such a great universe.
Lmao gotta make up for the concord losses somehow I guess.
The Last of Milking Us For Money?
I buy Terry Pratchett hardbacks in all their forms. I'm a sucker for it, my library is repeated but with various covers and designs. It's just the same sort of thing but for games. If that's your thing then why not.
Amazing games but $100. Wow.
2 games in the franchise and 6 releases all in the span of less than 2 generations.
I suppose if you count PC you could argue 8 releases. Blimey!
Lmfao. Just hilarious but sadly expected. Sony and ND are just shameless in their greed at this point.
I get people think this series has been milked, but it’s really not that strange to do bundles like this.
You can’t really call this a “re-release”, it’s just a convenient bundle for people who want to buy both games at once.
It’ll likely get discounted in the future too.
The physical version is really intriguing. But I think I‘m occupied enough with DS3 and Elden Ring for the rest of 2025.
@Slippship
Love the Disc World
If I'm being honest, we really didn't need this, and the price is a bit much.
HAHHAHA and the rumor mill strikes yet again with the truth. Here i was hoping this was an April Fools joke. Not a bad deal for those that never owned them.
No surprise Sony is attempting to capitalise on the TV show's second season. I bet this'll sell surprisingly well, especially if it gets pushed hard on the PS Store.
Casual gamers will see the 'Complete' edition and think that's the one they need.
is anyone tired of this series yet?
and it’s only been 2 games 😂😂
This is ridiculous. The Last of Us Part One is now being released 4 times across 3 generations. It makes GTA V look shy by comparison. 😂
Clicked into the article to see the asinine comments; wasn’t disappointed.
Complete for now
Good for anyone who's never played but useless for anyone else. Not even a statue...
Sadly, the “Complete” in the title seems to confirm that we’ll (probably) never have a 3rd
What a boringly obvious outcome and, unsurprisingly, they're doing nothing with Factions 1. The art prints are pretty, but with the games/comic having been remastered and/or re-released various times, with this one being $100 or more, I couldn't care less.
@Boxmonkey Complete forever? The relevant story was already told in the first part. It’s the same with Back to the Future.
Steelbooks are nice, I'll probably pick this up.
The new controller got delivered today (absolutely love it) but this is a tad too far
Not going to lie, that art work is very good!
At least they didn't actually add anything useful so this can just be ignored for me
This is exactly what I assumed it would be - a collection/bundle. It's not a "rerelease."
Once again, people complaining about this are just outing themselves as the outrage-hungry lame-o's we all know you are.
P.S. @Slippship Long live Mort!
Oh noes. Something that doesn't interest me but doesn't affect my life at all. How will I deal with such a problem?
@ChrisDeku And from the same usual suspects.
@naruball By Purposely Complaining about it on every article and social media tweet.
@Slippship Wish they would re release DiscWorld 1 and 2 off PS1 but one needs a fix because it has a bug at the end were you can't complete the final part lol
@Areus now, that makes sense!
See you in 3 months for the next remake.
Jokes aside, this bundle by definition is a re-release of the 2 remakes.
That's why the PS5 generation will be known as the remake/remaster generation.
I doubt we will see another new game and that's fine by me, I was pretty satisfied with how part 2 ended. I say let TLOU rest now like Uncharted rested, I was getting bored of Uncharted but now I'm dying for a new entry.
The thank you letter is a little strange but in a world of digital codes inside steelbooks and digital art-books this is good to see. Regardless if (the games) are a re-release.
@ChrisDeku You even left one asinine comment to make sure you were right
I find it hard to be upset about this because both games have been discounted at various points since release, so if you wanted either one you could've got them for less. But Nintendo is still selling Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey - 2017 Switch launch games - for 59.99 in the US, and no one ever seems bat an eye.
@Pat_trick Good one, bro
Well when your output is a fraction of what it was last gen i guess this is the only way to keep making money from your first party studios.
A year ago I predicted that we’ll get a bundle like this to which someone replied that only trilogies get bundles. I did not reply back.
@naruball The amount of people that waste their limited energy with redundant comments about how they don't like a game rather than just avoiding it altogether astounds me and probably says more abount human nature than we all realise.
I don't know why but the thank you letter from Neil Druckmann being resigned to tiny text at the bottom made me laugh.
@get2sammyb mostly for people new to the franchise from watching the show.
@ChrisDeku @UltimateOtaku Why shouldn't people be annoyed at Sony wasting time and money producing something that isn't making new first party games?
What is the rest of 2025 looking like for first party releases?
They have been incredible this generation at selling systems and milking their loyal fans. But little to nothing else.
@__Seraph The amount of people that waste their limited energy with redundant comments about how they don't like certain comments from people astounds me.
@SMJ Literaly zero developers were working on this product which is just a new plastic box
Pushsquare users try not to bring up Concord on a completely unrelated article Challenge. Impossible

THE RESOURCES! THE RESOURCES! WON'T ANYBODY THINK OF THE RESOURCES??!!!
Removed - trolling/baiting
If we just stop giving them money for all these re-releases maybe they’d make part 3
That's one huuuuge cow!
@ChrisDeku I didn't say any developers were working on this. If there were, we would probably be talking even longer for the next first party release.
I'm pointing out that the entire thing is a waste of time when we haven't had a first party exclusive since Astro Bot in September. When will we next be treated to a new one?
I'm also pointing out that this release is another shining example of Sony being pretty poor this gen.
Removed - flaming/arguing
I really wish they'd stop releasing these special editions. Now I'm tempted to get it 😑
Rushing to pre-order the physical version!
This oughta tide me over until the release of TLOU3, TLOU1 and 2 (PS6 Remaster) and TLOU (Fully) Complete, which are hopefully released as limited edition steelbooks with DLC bonuses and extra swag, like Abby-themed dumbbells or a collectible poster of Ellie shivving a pregnant lady in the throat.
@SMJ except i was making a point, not spouting the same old 'I hate this, that's all' comments that contribute nothing, and have all the substance of a twitter-bot.
Nah, I’m fine with my physical copies of 1 and 2 I got for cheap.
@EfYI What on earth are you on about?
Without being sarcastic, I actually never played tlou and as a collector would like to get my hands on this collection (I'm in minority, I know).
But there is no way to get this if I'm not in a PS Direct country?
EDIT: Yes, apparently that was the only way to get it. Now it's already sold out in the UK store and is starting to show up on Ebay doubled in price. Another great accomplishment by Sony.
They actually put Ellie on the cover twice instead of having Joel.
@KundaliniRising333 I’m confused at these comments do people not want physical copies any more ? I’m fine with games going all digital but they make the game available on disc and people complain.
@__Seraph Your point is just as valid as those people making points saying they don't like this.
Why are pro - Sony comments the only ones you think are worthwhile?
And surely if Sony stopped pulling this crap then those comments would naturally disappear.
@twitchtvpat These games are both already available physically. This is just a repackaged bundle.
@Nakatomi_Uk still got.both of them and a ps1 and have completed them both. 😁
Removed - flaming/arguing
$140CAD for an 11 year old and a 5 year old game thrown together in a snazy new case... somehow the math works out for sony. it won't work for mostly everybody else. FOMO of years past has reached diminishing returns and people are just tired of it now. switch 2 reactions are a clear indication of that.
$120 for physical? Thanks Nintendo !!!
@EfYI Yeah, it's true. We all comment here a lot, but it doesn't mean we're wrong. Some folks love to catastrophize and we like to call a spade a spade.
Removed - flaming/arguing
@Americansamurai1 Exactly. Baffling amount of overreactions here — there are loads of double packs on the PS Store.
Why are they Skyrim’ing this game?? It’s great, but…come on now!
Removed - flaming/arguing
Hi, @get2sammyb Welcome to PushSquare. Your surprised reaction of gross overreaction tells me you're new here
A lot of people will want to play these games for the first time after watching season 2 of the TV show and this is a good way to get them.
I'm obviously not buying since I already own both but I don't see a problem here.
Neil Druckman trying to release The Last of Us more than George Lucas released Star Wars.
You can't buy it digitally if you already own Part 1 and 2 because it's just a convenient bundle for people who've never played it.
I would buy a physical copy of this when it hits a sale if I didn't already own them though.
But what about trophies.... is there another new list to tempt people in cos that's what's really gonna get some people triple dipping!
@Max_the_German I've been occupied with Elden Ring since 2022...
Tlou, gta v, and skyrim of these three which will get a ps6/nxbox/switch 2 port?
Removed - trolling/baiting
What an absolute rip off 100 quid ,jesus sony
@nomither6 is anyone tired of this series yet?
and it’s only been 2 games 😂😂
I am far more tired of Horizon but yes this is getting old. It’s funny tho cause it went from Xbox has no games to Sony has no games and MS is putting games on PS. The industry changes so fast.
Not to mention if Sony would have released all those cancelled live service games they would have been day and date on PC like HD2, so they would have had no exclusives. Things change quickly, never say never when money is involved.
Clearly this edition aim for newcomers especially the ones who came from watching the TV series. And $100 is a fair price for Part 1 remake, Part 2 remaster, a steelcase, comic prequel, and 4 litograph.
What i don't get is negative comments from people who didn't like TloU or already own the game as if Sony forced them to buy this special edition lol. I swear internet has a lot of morons.
Of all the things I’m never going to buy, I’m definitely never going to buy this the hardest.
Part 1 is on PS Plus Premium and you can get Part 2 for dirt cheap used these days.
Heck you could get the PS4 version for under £5 these days.
Paying $100 is only for collectors or uber fans
Milking that cow for everything that it's worth.
Completely dry at this point.
Just came here to like a bunch of comments, not much to add that hasn't been said already.
But yeah i agree, this is obviously targeting people who haven’t played the games yet and just discovered the series through the show. Also collectors and fans. I mean who cares, really? You dont have to buy it.
I went to a comic con last week, and the stuff people spend money on baffles me sometimes. But its their hobby damnit, let them enjoy it!
Also, these are two GOTY winners, and arguably the pinnacle of Sony games. For someone who havent played the games, this is a fair price for some of the best games of all time.
For comparison: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still $60 in the Nintendo Shop, and that doesnt even include the extra tracks DLC, which costs another $25
@nomither6 Then dont buy them or look at the articles.
@Jorogumo Ninty releasing Zelda 4 or 5 times is so much better...
@get2sammyb Its how mad you can get about something you can avoid or ignore.
It's never The Last of Us if they keep re-releasing.
@Torque it’s like how Bethesda keeps releasing Skyrim over and over.
Seems like a giant ripoff to me!
@ShogunRok And, in your opinion, is that a good thing?
@twitchtvpat No.. they've both been released physically for PS5. I have both sitting on my shelf. This just bundles them together in one package.
@CieloAzure Is the milk cow completely dry when the TV series received very well + renew for season 3 and Part 1 remake + Part 2 remaster sold well? Heck, a lot of people even ask / wants for Part 3 despite Neil said it's uncertain.
@LogicStrikesAgain "But its their hobby damnit, let them enjoy it!"
This 🤝
I know an acquaintance who's a diehard Street Fighter fans and he bought multiple SF games, standard and collectors edition, for different consoles. I asked him why he did it? And he only said "because i loves SF and i have the money". So yeah, let people enjoy their beloved hobby and franchise.
I guess naughty dog was sick and tired of people asking about a potential third entry.
"It's complete alright? No more, now we're going to space!"... Hang on... Is intergalactic in the same universe after leaving earth because of zombies?
I'm wondering when Naughty Dog are going to release The Last The Last of Us Remastered Complete Edition, I mean that one, being The Last The Last of Us, will be the one to wait for!
Can we all agree that nobody wanted this and Sony should do much more to bring us first party exclusives?
Anyone who buys this is part of the problem.
It is tempting! I decided to leave it because I already have the PS5 Remake of Part I and PS5 Remaster of Part II.
At least the steelbook version includes a disc.
@__Seraph you seem them everywhere online. If I had a penny for every "no one cares" comment I've seen online, I'd probably be able to afford a house.
@Jorogumo couldn't be further from the truth. Sales clearly suggest otherwise. But facts don't matter, right?
Huge fan of last of us but this s*** needs to stop.. this the last of me buying until a part 3 or spin off happens
If you don’t want it, don’t buy it… it’s not complicated.
But this is bundled as it will sell, maybe not to you, but to others.
As usual The Last of Us leads to some bizarre levels of vitriol. People making mountains out of molehills.
Do the same people who are moaning in this thread not understand that this is how media works? Take any book, CD, record, DVD, Blu-ray, etc. from your libraries and chances are it won't be a first pressing, it may have been remastered, and you may have gone out of your way to buy a "bells and whistles" edition.
This package - for people who want it - doesn't invalidate your original purchase. Don't want it? Okay, move on with your day.
@0niguy As a "huge fan" of the series, is it not easier to simply ignore a bundle you have no interest in?
@MrPeanutbutterz "Take any book, CD, record, DVD, Blu-ray, etc. from your libraries and chances are it won't be a first pressing, it may have been remastered, and you may have gone out of your way to buy a "bells and whistles" edition."
This 🤝
I owned Ghost in the Shell 1995 animated movie on DVD like eons ago. But i bought it again on Bluray because they added new CG effect + HD resolution. Now i've seen there's a new 4K edition with Steelcase and such.
Or comics / manga. I rebought plenty of re-release because i lost some volume or the first printing aren't in good shape anymore.
@SMJ "Can we all agree that nobody wanted this..."
If Sony didn't think this would sell, they wouldn't be releasing it - and it makes perfect sense for new customers, brought in by the TV series. Also, from a comment above it, the collectors edition has sold out.
"and Sony should do much more to bring us first party exclusives?"
Probably, but this is likely due to Sony changing direction to, and then from mass Live Service, and has nothing to do with the negligible (if any) dev time spent on this double pack.
Someone posted a list of all the 1st party games this gen, compared to last gen, a few weeks ago, and Sony are doing quite well this gen - its only been the last year or so thats been low output.
Hopefully this will be The Last of Them.
….
I’ll show myself out.
Only The Last of Us could get over 100 comments on an article about a simple bundle repackage.
@MrPeanutbutterz oh yes I'm definitely ignoring this as I don't need it
@PuppetMaster Absolutely. I own several different versions of some of my favourite albums. Was content with my original versions, but wanted the new shinies. And the new shinies editions are a good jumping in point for newer fans. Just like this is.
I also don't get the "but but but it's a12 year old game!" comments. Those people are more than welcome to rock the PS3 version with potato resolution and framerate in 2025 while the rest of us (pun intended) are enjoying the vastly superior PS5 version.
Funniest is "greedy $ony!!!". Like... did these people just learn about capitalism this morning? Lol.
@Rich33 As a fellow PlayStation fan, are you genuinely impressed with Sony's first party output over the last four and a half years?
I'm not. Particularly with PSVR2.
@MrPeanutbutterz My issue isn't entirely that this bundle exists (although it really shouldn't given how both games were re-released this gen). It's more about the fact that Sony is spending time doing this and NOT releasing any new games. September 2024 was the last first party exclusive.
This will sell hundreds of copies.
Obviously this is one for the collectors that have a compulsion to buy everything.
@ThroughTheIris56 Joel is in negative shape between the Ellies.
Absolutely grim.... This is worse than skyrim milking
@SMJ
I was impressed over the 1st 3 and a bit years, yes. GOW Ragnarok & SM2 are 2 of my highlights, and I think overall they were doing a good job up until about a year ago - since then, not so good. They have time to turn that around, but do need to get a move on.
One other thing to consider, is that if my guesswork is correct, if not for the hack we may have had Insomniacs Wolverine by now - but Sony aren't good at communicating things like that.
Double packs like this will have little or no impact on games output though.
@Perturbator Good catch. I totally missed that. Now I can't unsee it lol.
@SMJ I can't say "Nobody wanted this" because I can't speak for everyone. I guess you can say nobody wanted this if you have that much information. I'm a TLOU die-hard and have only bought each game once. Some people are fans of things and will snatch up every iteration of it they can get. Let them! Let them enjoy what they enjoy the way they want to enjoy it.
I finished the first game maybe a week after release. I still haven't finished the 2nd game. My wife is binging the series to we can watch season 2 when it airs. When I told her I've never finished the 2nd game she said, "Well, after we watch the show we can play the game and spot the differences..." She said "WE"! "WE"!!!
My wife's not a gamer at all but she wants to play this game with me because of the TV series! So yeah, putting out new s**t for new people right around the release of the TV series is definitely the idea. And I'm sure my wife isn't the only person doing this. Heck, when the first season dropped, one of my employees bought her nephew a PS5 with TLOU because he wanted one and she loved the series so she watched him play the game.
@Rich33 Genuinely, what impressed you in those first 3 years? I originally had GOW Ragnarok on my PS4 and it ran like a dream. SM2 is a great game but not an exclusive. Compared to my favourite PlayStation generation (PS3) this has been hugely underwhelming for me.
Sony seem to be doing the bare minimum to support PS5 and their PSVR2 output is shocking. I would take a few VR1 remakes from them but they can't even be bothered to do that.
Whilst double packs like this don't take away from development time, they do highlight Sony's current attitude towards their fans.
When is the next first party exclusive release planned?
@AhmadSumadi Well I CAN speak for everyone in saying nobody wanted this because I did the survey. 😂 I literally surveyed EVERYONE. I'm surprised you didn't get an invite?!?
@SMJ I did get it. But you likely ignored it as my reply didn't fit your agenda.
I much prefer the old days, when studios released NEW games.
Tired of this remake this remaster that collection.
It is starting to get like living life all over again but more expensively.
We deserve NEW and better for the prices we pay for consoles and games today, we are a bunch of mugged off gamers.
@SMJ
SM Miles Morales
Demon Souls
Ratchet and Clank
Horizon FW
GOW Ragnarok
SM2
Astro - Playroom and Bot
All excellent and incredibly polished / optimised games (more often than not running in excess of 60fps) - the polished / optimised part of which is not something I would say about a lot of 3rd party games.
Also remasters of the original SM, and the patch enabling 60fps in quality mode for the original GOW.
60fps being the real game changer, but that quality mode ran like a complete car crash on PS4 Pro, and was arguably designed ready for PS5 imo.
And these were just the ones I bought. And thats not mentioning all the 3rd party partner games like Stellar Blade as Im going to assume they would still have been made if Sony were not involved.
On the hardware front PS5 Pro was a highlight - ive had mine since launch and I am very pleased I upgraded.
I never bought PSVR2 as im not into VR at all - but I dont think it was supported too well from what I remember.
Edit - "highlight Sony's current attitude towards their fans" - if you mean releasing a convenient double pack for people new to TLOU, then yes, I agree.
@SMJ You're aware that this repackaging of two existing games was dreamt up by someone in marketing and someone else in their art department? The handful of people (at most) that took to put this package together aren't stalling the massive teams required to make new games.
You're also aware that this is a fallow period that was predicted due to Sony pivoting away from live service, right?
You're also aware that Ghost of Yotei is coming, Marathon is coming, Hoisemarque's new one is coming, Wolverine is coming, Naughty Dog's new IP is coming, right?
And if you're really that desperate for a new game, you have Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon 5 this month, and Doom The Dark Ages next month from Microsoft, right? And the other mountain of third party games available for the thing.
@Perturbator Noticed that later. I guess having a faint silhouette is better than nothing.
Everyone here on a PS fan site has played The Last of Us series. But out in the real world there are thousands of people getting in to the game for the first time after the HBO show. Played it? Don’t want the steel box? Don’t buy it. Simple as that…
@MrPeanutbutterz "Ghost of Yotei is coming, Marathon is coming, Hoisemarque's new one is coming, Wolverine is coming, Naughty Dog's new IP is coming".
Yes I'm aware those games are coming. But you and I have no clue when.
There are no dates for any first party exclusive for the rest of 2025. It's actually possible that Sony won't release a game for their own system in 2025. It's highly unlikely, but not impossible.
I don't understand why you think that's okay. Don't you want more games from Sony?
@SMJ Do I want new games from Sony? Sure, and they're coming, but there's already more good games coming out (and already available) than I (and most people) have the time to play.
I simply don't care who the developer is. Good games are all I care about. I also don't particularly care that they're making a marketing push with the two existing The Last of Us at a time that makes perfect sense.
@Rich33
SM Miles Morales - on PS4
Demon Souls - great game, not first party
Ratchet and Clank - good game
Horizon FW - on PS4
GOW Ragnarok - on PS4
SM2 - good game
Astro - Playroom and Bot - good demo and good game.
Stellar Blade - okay game, not first party
I don't understand why you believe this is an acceptable output.
Fair enough about VR. If it's not for you it's not for you. I fell in love with VR with my original PSVR2. It genuinely blew my tiny mind and it was the most impressive thing I've seen in nearly 40 years of gaming. So many great first and third party games. I think I've bought around 100 PSVR1 games and was so excited for VR2. Unfortunately Sony have virtually (pun intended) abandoned VR2 to the point it's laughable. I spent £530 on it and aside from higher definition Quest ports, the game library is paper thin.
they're going to kill the cow! please be respectful of animal rights!
@PuppetMaster
I am not arguing about the show. Ppl should watch what they find interesting. I am talking about how many more editions can they crank out with 2 same games.
You friend buying a different entry of SF isn't the same as someone buying TLoU part 1 and 2 three different times because there is a "different edition" for it. At that point, you're giving Sony the impression that consumers are willing to throw money at anything.
@SMJ Why do only first party studio games count in your book? What about second and third party exclusives? While i do think they have delivered high quality first party games so far, first party games aren’t the only games that define a console generation.
And what exactly do you consider an “acceptable output”? PS1 and PS2 hardly had any first party games. Would you consider that an unacceptable output?
Also, most of the first party games they did deliver up until now weren’t only received well critically, many are even GOTY contenders and winners.
If you compare to other publishers, Nintendo focuses on smaller scale but more frequent releases, Xbox bought two publishers and now boasts a large output, but hardly had an output before that, Take Two hardly released anything the last few years except for their yearly sports games. I think you’re being overly critical on Sony and their output
@LogicStrikesAgain I'm not saying only first party games count. I'm saying that Sony should be better.
They have bought a lot of developers since the PS2 days and they should be able to release more than a game a year.
@SMJ I agree, i also want more and they should do better. I just dont share the same dissatisfaction as you about what they have delivered so far and whats already announced so far. Their games still mostly outweigh other publishers in terms of quality and hype, at least in my opinion
@CieloAzure Sony & ND can release multiple edition whenever they want and you don't have to buy it. So i'm not sure why you complaining as if Sony & ND stolen your money.
And my friend bought multiple edition of SF games is the same as this. People buy whatever stuff they want with their money.
You think only Sony who released multiple edition of their games? You need to see Capcom, Nintendo, Atlus, Bethesda, R*, Sega, etc. These are business companies and they're here to sell their products, not charity.
@MrPeanutbutterz Lol these people probably live under a rock and think Sony is a charity company or something lol.
@SMJ - “Can we all agree that no-one wanted this…”
Actually, I did, as I didn’t have either, but I got the impression it wasn’t coming and bought them separately when they were on sale.
Also, not sure why you seem to be under the impression that this bundle coming out means fewer new 1st party games are being developed? Pretty sure you can have both pretty easily, Especially since the physical is only being released on Sony’s own store.
You can get both seperately for way cheaper. Heck Part 1 is on PS Plus right now.
Are you all really reacting to a fancy repackaging of the games? You CAN get them in other ways, it's just a collector item jeez
I get why soneone might get this as a physical release to look nice on the shelf, but what fool would buy this digitally at that price?
Stop it now naughty dog you're boring us 🙄
Does anyone remember "Greatest Hits" when publishers would re-release games, but they would get CHEAPER?
Good times.
@FullMetalWesker Of course we can have both. Unfortunately Sony are only giving us this.
@PuppetMaster Yup. I've seen that in general - people being disgusted and flabbergasted that a for-profit business would seek to make a (checks notes) profit. Oh, the inhumanity of it all!
I've experienced people being salty about it way back in my weekend retail job back during university. So when I see people getting salty that a multbillion dollar corporation like Sony are very much in fact in it for the money, it's looks like such a disconnect from reality that all I can do is look on in bemusement.
@Medic_alert the last of us was on PS3, so wouldn't that be 3 generations?
@CutchuSlow that's why I used the word 'span'.
End of ps3 to end of PS4 would span 1 gen, end of ps4 to end of ps5 would span 2 generations.
