@frankmcma yeah it’s really disheartening. I feel like getting games to play at 60fps is the best thing about the new generation of consoles and graphics become less important, as I now always opt for performance mode…however other games still look great in this mode, look at Demon’s Souls, Deathloop…amazing. 1080p however just shouldn’t be an acceptable thing now, not even on the PS4 😂
I’m enjoying the gameplay, it’s pretty solid and fun..I’ve come across a few bugs where I’ve had to quit the game and load back in again, however my biggest issue is the trade off in graphics to enable 60fps. I really struggle to play any game nowadays at 30fps as I’ve been spoilt so much by new releases, but to have 1080p graphics is just such a let down. I’d love it to be patched in at some point, but I’m not holding my breathe.
Hey guys, I’ve upgraded to the PS5 version but my progression has reset to 1. Does your progress not carry over? Or is there another procedure to do it?
Everything has a knock on effect, if it released in a more stable, bug free state - it would of got better received in reviews and more gamers would of been inclined to pay in full for it. I really enjoyed this game....just not when it first came out
@solocapers I’ve had this problem a few times now. The way I fixed it was to start to re-download (or reinstall from disc) the deleted game...then immediately cancel and delete the download. This will remove it from the Home Screen. However yeah it is a ball ache and something that should definitely be fixed
I’ve played this game on and off on the ps5 since release and never had any major issues. It was definitely very buggy but nothing game breaking. Certainly anyone who says the game is ‘fundamentally bad’ is completely misguided, it’s got a vision and it’ll get there...look at No Mans Sky now 🤷🏻♂️ I’ve updated the game today and it just seems to be much more polished...I’m just interested to know, from PS4 users who have downloaded the patch, what their experience of it is now? Has it improved much?
I love gaming in VR, however I swapped out the PSVR for the Occulus Quest due to how cumbersome the PSVR was to set up and play with masses of cables, so having one cable is an immediate draw and more important than it perhaps should be. The games are definitely there already and it’s nice to see VR has outgrown the ‘fad’ phase of gaming like 3D (who?) Honestly I love the PS5 and if they can convey some of that power into a new headset, technology to be impressed by and games to blow me away...I’m coming back for more✌🏻
