@Divergent95 GTA online has been milked to death, there hasn't really been a miss for the mainline series. its like saying to Nintendo "quit working on Zelda and revive balloon fighters"
@clvr oh no I'm no superhero fan. I actually am kinda tired of the oversaturation too and I never really have fun with them (with the exception of the Batman Arkham games, those things rule.) your point just made absolutely no sense to me. what you were saying was basically "there's no room for these games in the industry" and talking like Square mf Enix of all companies is going to delay the next final fantasy or tomb raider or dragon quest etc because they have a B team working on a marvel tie in, my argument wasn't "there are other games being made" it's "this doesn't affect the other properties Square Enix is working on and works as huge fanservice to fans of Marvel products." I guarantee something like marvel avengers being in development didn't stall the development of a cash cow like final fantasy, for instance. sure it may not be your thing, but there are plenty of other things coming out and as i said before, the superhero fantasy is something a lot of people love. to sum it all up: no, I'm not an offended superhero fanboy. I just thought your point was ridiculous.
@clvr I don't see your point.... We play videogames for the fantasy? the superhero fantasy is a very desired one? and tie in games have always been a thing they just died down as of recent. also even taking your problem at face value, Square enix is still releasing 2 final fantasy titles a revamp of a previous remake and many more projects. Its not like its the company's only game in development
Honestly, Far Cry 6 has been the best part of e3 this year (Well halo infinite looked cool but I don't have an Xbox) hopefully Nintendo pulls through with something.
