Played it at Eurogamer Expo today. I was stunned. I did not at all expect it to be as fun and engrossing as it was. You could easily sink an evening into it. Great co-op game. I will be downloading immediately on launch day.
I'm in the same boat as some of you above. I've got far too much to catch up on before the PS4 comes out. I'd be happy to wait for a PS4 version in about a year. Ginkgo - sounds like you need PlayStation Plus.
Nothing at this time has topped the PS Vita launch line up, which was, frankly, just ridiculous. However, it is still very good. Loads of variety. A great indie selection. Loads to try and do from day one. The biggest benefit, and I think Sony may win on this, is that they've learned their lesson with the Vita and won't have such a massive gap between launch titles and the next wave of big great AAA games. inFamous: SS coming just 3 months after launch. Bring it.
Not to mention that the odds of Uncharted 4 being announced at the VGA's in December are so ridiculously high that there's no point even mentioning it...

To be fair - with over a million preorders - Sony needed to flesh out their 2013 PS4 games list. Which is exactly what they did. The strategy was simple and well executed.
With respect, I'd suggest that you are in fact one of those people that Clamedeus was talking about - you call the strategy ridiculous, when clearly it isn't - and then say that you get it - when you don't.
I'll also add that the reason I have little interest at this time is that I don't see the PS Camera as an essential purchase. Should Sony (because first party stuff is usually better) decide to do something with it then I may change my mind.
@JaredJ
I disagree, Jared. When you look at the Xbox One and the Kinect, the camera MUST be connected for the system to work. Whilst I agree that there would be more developer support if the PS Camera was packaged with the system, the last thing anyone wants is another situation where the thing is mandatory. That Sony gives us the choice with the camera, and therefore bringing down the base cost of the system, is much better for those like myself who have little interest in this optional peripheral.

Re: Talking Point: When Will Be the Right Time to Reintroduce The Last Guardian?
I really feel in my waters that it will be re-announced in 2014, PS4 exclusive, to be released mid 2015.
I'll go in to meltdown if it comes around at the same time as MGS V.
