The best way to preserve games is pirating unfortunately. The easiest way is to upload to a digital library is through physical media. That’s why a lot of people hate a digital only future. Streaming or Gamepass like distribution hated even more so.
@11001100110zero I’m very chilled. Just pointed out the false information and the certainty you used to express it. No one likes to admit when they’re wrong just part of life though. I’ve been wrong plenty of times and I’m sure I’ll be wrong again.
@11001100110zero this is a false statement. The games aren’t ported to console after PC and anyone saying this are clueless on how game development works. Porting insinuates that the game was running on windows and than ported to console so it should easily work back to windows. That is false. Games are developed on developers kits that are more akin to an optimized console. They’re not PC.
@LifeGirl PS2 sold so well because it was a lot of people bought it as their DVD player. This was around the DVDs came out and players with less features actually costed more than the PlayStation 2. Also selling an item and playing it 5 as the best of all time is a pretty big deal so considering that PlayStation 5 is trending better is a major feat.
@Col_McCafferty not sure if you’re joking or not but there are much more console gamers with most on PlayStation than there are PC players. Just Google it.
@nessisonett it’s actually the same thing that was said when the Bethesda deal went down. They allowed games that were already in development for PlayStation to come out on PlayStation. They also kept ESO and Fallout 76 on PlayStation. The new games are releasing exclusively on Xbox and PC. I’m willing to bet this is exactly how this Activision deal goes down. I have no idea why so many people are in denial. Microsoft didn’t spend $70 billion to allow Activision games on their biggest competitor.
I honestly don’t think Zen is going to get a lot of people on here. This is viewed more as a service with tables to purchase and I don’t see many people okay with rebuying all their tables again.
@Flaming_Kaiser Microsoft is trying to change how the console business is done. I’ll be supporting them because of that. I’ve been saying consoles should go the PC route forever.
When I buy a new PC I don’t lose access to my library. When a new graphics card comes out I can still buy the most current games that comes out for my older PC. Same thing with my mobile devices. Microsoft is doing the console business the right way and I’ll support them for that. This is coming from a hardcore PlayStation fanboy.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for October 2023?
Where can I vote that I canceled my subscription after the price increase? Would’ve loved to see that.

Why are people comparing PS+ to GamePass? Those are two different services.
