@mariomaster96 Couldn't agree more, I actually find stuff like Uncharted, Last of Us, Horizon and Spiderman more convincing BECAUSE they are stylised. It creates a consistent world that your brain adapts to very quickly, when you seek absolute realism every tiny thing that's not 100% right sticks out like a sore thumb and snaps your mind back to reality when you see it.
It is a glimpse of the future, just not the PS5's future. That level of fidelity won't be possible at an acceptable frame rate on current gen consoles. An early look at PS6 graphics perhaps though.
@IonMagi No, you can enable VRR globally but it may cause issues on certain games (this is also the case on Xbox). Patched games will of course work as intended and will allow you to toggle VRR on/off via the games own options menu which should not require exiting the game, whereas the global setting will most likely need you to quit and restart.
I'm sure the system coming with a stand is old news. It has to be included in the box as it's necessary for both vertical and horizontal orientation due to the consoles curved shape.
Trouble is, if you want 60 FPS+ on the new consoles then for the short term you won't see much, if any visual improvement over current-gen games. All that extra power will be used to just double the frame rate leaving very little for all the extra bells and whistles we expect to see in next-gen games, like ray tracing for example.
The first couple of years will likely be a mix of 30fps with "next-gen" visuals and 60fps+ with only slightly improved "current-gen" graphics.
Then hopefully new engines like UE5 will come into play and we'll see what the new consoles are truly capable of.

@themightyant At 24fps with big dips even lower though. They've got some serious optimization to do before actual games can even look that good.
That said I'm sure we can look forward to some amazing things in the near future.
