@Would_you_kindly same thing happened to me, I always ***** auto renewal off as I always got my PS+ for a fraction of the cost and soon as the new service went live my subscription ran out 3 days later and my card was charged $120 for PS+ premium (I had also been a PS now subscriber) so I had to contact PlayStation support and thankfully they refunded me BUT it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Players beware
