I sold my launch PS4 a few weeks back in preparation of getting a new PS4 Pro and hopefully this game shortly after. Looking forward to the patch it is supposed to be getting to support 4K. I played this game so much on Steam and look forward to playing it on PS4 now. The PS3 version was a little buggy for my taste back in the day and with it's lengthy delays between DLC I eventually sold it. I know it's strange but this, Fallout 4 (with all DLC) and Watch_Dogs 2 are probably the games I'm looking forward to playing most this year.
@DualWielding Yeah this conference was mostly about HDR, no mention even of the new controller. And then directly stating outside of the event that there would be no UHD bluray support? Hopefully that last bit was just a misquote in regard to the original PS4 and or the Slim.
@flummerfelt They mentioned that for the 1080p the developers can choose to add more frames per second or more effects (lighting, atmospheric effects, weather, etc). I'm assuming they could also add more or better anti-aliasing, but this wasn't directly mentioned.
@dryrain I saw one site mention it did, and now several that say it won't. Seems like a HUGE oversight for it to not support 4K UHD Blu ray if that is indeed the truth.
@adf86 Sony exec - "We have some 4K HDR TVs to sell so let's make all PS4's compatible with them. Then let's use this whole event to sell the consumer on the benefits of HDR".
@KingofSaiyanZ Yes, the PS4 Pro will continue to use the same 2.5" HDD as did the PS3. The Pro will come with a 1TB HDD so keeping your 2TB HDD would be a good thing.
From another site it was mentioned the PS4 Pro will have a 1TB HDD. Seems like the biggest advantages to the PS4 Pro and updated current PS4 is that you will have HDR support (on the right television), but the Pro will run 4K as the others (at least the original PS4) won't because of their HDMI 1.4 limitation. But the Pro will support faster FPS or effects based on the developers choice.
@JesWood13 Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 will be enough for me for the next few years I suppose. Unless they support uploading old PS3 saves to the PS4, I'll start Skyrim anew. The fact that they are releasing a remastered version for PS4 is the best thing I've seen out of E3 so far, well that and the new Quake sounds interesting.
Yeah, I started the download last night when I received my download code from Zenimax (for having pre-ordered for $20 in early adoption of the PC version). The download took nearly six hours and then I thought I would try logging in this morning before work... login error each time I tried. I'm going out of town for a few days, hopefully when I'm back on Saturday I can at least login!

Re: Mirror's Edge Catalyst Catches Its Breath in 2016 on PS4
Very excited for this game on PS4. With exception of Zelda for Wii U, this is probably my most anticipated game for 2016.
