Re: Soapbox: PSVR2 Already Feels Like It's on Course for Failure

For me the lack of backwards compatibility or upgrade programs in addition to the high price really stung.
Resident Evil Village VR and GT7 might be real draws for me but like most I wanted (and still want) to see Half Life Alyx on the platform.

Games like REV and GT7 are probably the way forward for PSVR 2 as those games are already made for regular play and therefore would be cheaper to adapt to VR than create new games from scratch.

I hope we see Insomniac do something with it as Wolverine VR and Resistance or Spiderman VR games would be stunning.
Same goes for Naughty Dog, I know they're 'done' with Uncharted but an Uncharted themed game in the vein of Blood and Truth would be amazing.

Speaking which BaT with some graphical upgrades would be fantastic, as would Astro Bot.

Re: Sony Cuts PSVR2 Launch Sale Estimates by Half, New Report Claims

The reason for this is simple - it costs far too much.
Everyone who saw the specs for this and the price for PSVR 1 was expecting a price of £400 to £450. Owners of PSVR 1 also feel pretty shafted by the lack of upgrades for their games, especially from Sony themselves.

Quite frankly the headset costs too much, there's no incentive for previous gen PSVR owners to upgrade and the available games aren't especially inspiring given the price point.

Re: PS Plus Premium Members Bemused by Sony Once Again

I think Premium started quite promisingly and then has been nothing bit a disappointment since. Unless something changes soon I'll be dropping down to Extra.

Sony don't seem to understand why people aren't happy as they seem to think that emulated PS3 games are a draw for their service. The reality is that most people ignore those games because they're streamed therefore are leggy and a horrible way to play those games.
