@Matroska haven't played with move but from what I see, seems like it is great to use for sculpting and scenario design. Nevertheless, it is still perfectly fine to do everything with the dualshock.
@GamingFan4Lyf I completely understand your concern... But I think the difference from Dreams to other open platforms is: first an excellent promotion of good creations in Dreamsurfing, and second, a very positive, cooperative and helpful community. Seriously, I've never seen a community like this in any other platform in the internet. "jump-scare game #999999999, penis jokes, divisive political jabs, memes, and copycat games" In 1 year of early access, I've never seen any of these in Dreams, or if so, very rarely, so can't even remember. Sure, it isn't all masterpieces, but you can see everyone is improving their quality step by step on each creation. It is really amazing how someone with little to no background to programming or game engines can make their first games in just a few hours of learning, and also being able to count on an awesome community to improve. I really believe this could be a gateway for people who always dreamed (pun intended) to be a game developer but always found too hard.
@ellsworth004 On early access, I've seen people creating massive cyberpunk cities full of buildings and neon lights. Knowing how to properly optimize, you can really do almost anything!
@nessisonett Sure, exactly my feeling as well. For part of the year it was Rocket League, then Overwatch. Total feeling of no progression, you just slowly struggle to go up some ranks (only to fall back down shortly after)... After a long time it felt a lot like wasting my (very limited) free time. Finishing single player stories feel a lot more like a progression, as you said.
@carlos82 Most likely all creations from the early access will be transfered to the final game, so no need to worry about that. There is already a whole bunch of great content to play with.
@LowTech Before the "Beyond" update, the multiplayer was just in sessions with a few players. Now it is basically a "MMO" of sorts. It changed so much from the initial game, I almost can't recognize it. Somehow it lost the feeling of the first builds, so in spite of the large improvements it got, I gradually lost interest in it... Kinda liked the lonely feeling from the beginning, same feeling I get playing Death Stranding now
That's all Overcooked needs: constant stream of new content. The standard game is so quick to finish that we bought the season pass right after. A level creation tool for players would be a very welcome addition!
@FullbringIchigo It seems the Credits are microtransaction only, just like the keys. At least it ends with the gambling factor, where people didn't know what they where paying for.
@ShogunRok Yes, please, a short games list! I've got so little time per week to play, I'm giving the most value to the good experiences that can be completed in a short time. Absolutely loved The Order and now I mostly play short indies.
Right now I'm finishing Days Gone, but it's been taking me several weeks!
I've played this demo at this same convention in Brazil last month, and it's just like the guy says in the video. The graphics are pretty good, around same level as other recent ps1 remasters, and the gameplay is basically the same as the original game. As I've never played Medievil in my childhood, I couldn't find any interest in playing this. Might be worth it for those who played the original, just for the nostalgia factor.
@DreamerAbe86 My thoughts exactly. Seems like most people forgot the joy of slowly discovering the gameplay elements and features of the game, instead of having everything revealed in trailers before launch...
@East76landS I have very few hours a week to play, so for me the shorter the game, the better I had to give up on games like Witcher 3, after realizing I'd have to take several months to complete it...
Nice review! This game really caught my attention some time ago. I'm not really turned down by the short lifespan of the game, so I might give it a go. I've read some reviews who criticized it for ramping up the difficulty too much, to the point of annoyance. Did you experience this at any moment?

Re: Dreams - Media Molecule's Magnum Opus Is One of PS4's Absolute Best
@Quintumply My only question is: will we ever see Snacks on a Train coming out?

@nessisonett My thoughts on my wrap up, exactly! Except now I'm wasting all my gaming hours on Death Stranding to get that Platinum trophy

@jdv95 For lighting, maybe. But surely for facial animations, and maybe even environment, Death Stranding is in a league of its own
