@Stragen8 well, vehicles and those metal skeletons get upgraded, and more weapons become available to you as you progress, but the combat still isn't very good. You obtain more efficient vehicles, and I liked those. The story really picks up (even if it still doesn't quite make sense), but only after a couple of terribly slow and painful middle chapters in a certain location. You'll have to put up with a bit to get to the (imo) more interesting second half.
@R1spam the trick is to use lots of spells and bounce on top of them with your nail. They have a couple moves that go up, but just dash away when you see it coming. I was at a wall with these guys myself, I understand your pain! (;
@kyleforrester87 oh I don't mean to say that nobody plays it anymore, it is definitely still popular enough to make decent sales! But the ratio of "I hear about it from other people" to "how well it does in the sales charts" just seems a bit off.
I'm genuinely still surprised GTA V is still a thing. It hasn't been removed from the charts in forever, yet I know zero people that say they still play it.
Wow, this looks amazing. If the game is short, then samey puzzles shouldn't be much of an issue. @LiamCroft how simple are the controls? Games like this are great for getting acquaintances into gaming if the controls aren't too much for them.

@Stragen8 you're about 15-20% there.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 351
@Col_McCafferty Just push through the start! You'll soon begin to find upgrades rather than buy them. What area are you on currently?

Re: Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning's First Gameplay Trailer Arrives Just Over a Week from Launch
This game has me interested. I love a good fantasy open-world game. Never played the original, so I hope that it lives up to my expectations!
Re: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Brings the Force to PS5 and PS4 Next Spring
I am definitely excited for this. Lego games usually aren't my thing but this looks really good. The lightsaber fights look awesome!

Re: Mini Review: The Alto Collection - The Chillest Endless Runner on PS4
I like the art style of this. I don't often play endless runners, but the few I have I've enjoyed. I'll check it out!
Re: Guide: New PS4 Games This Week (10th August to 16th August)
Banner of the maid looks interesting.
Re: The Last of Us TV Show to Include 'Jaw Drop' Moment Excluded from the Game
I wonder if the idea he's talking about is the elephant scene, where Joel scrambles away from an infected elephant. that would indeed be jaw-dropping.
