Man that premium tier is so sad, with as huge a library available for PS1, PS2 the fact they are not touching it is super disappointing. It's definitely making me regret going for the premium right now.
@EdwardElric I wouldn't be shocked if the list was not correct in order to make that 700 plus games seem true lol as it at least doesn't feel like 700 games, maybe it's just due to a lot of fluff.
Premium selection is terrible, they really dropped the ball on that. I wonder if they decided to skimp on that because of the upgrade to premium associated with NOW in hopes they'll beef that up over time and then hope people will renew it next year after they beef it up over time. If I hadn't gotten NOW for that upgrade I would have totally skipped premium as it's just not worth it between the PS3 being streaming only & the terrible lack of actual PSP, PS1, PS2 games that should have been here. Also if you look at the RPG genre which is my favorite there's definitely a big hole there. Feels like a lot of fluff selections.
Well it's launched in the US and I'm officially super dang disappointed as it appears like they didn't add anymore PSP, PS1, PS2 games the list is so damned tiny. Definitely making me regret thus far grabbing PS now to get the premium for the next year. I sure how they beef up the numbers of these older games as that's one of the only reasons to have the best tier. At the least for now I'm finally grabbing death stranding and ghosts of tsushima to check out. So far looking through the list i've just not been impressed at what's to offer at launch. Also I still don't think there's 700+ games they were flaunting.
Yeah kind of disappointed my physical deluxe version is on delay. I really am looking forward to playing, but I do know my backlog keeps staring me at the face anyways, and that a few weeks delay is not the worst. I'm going to keep it for now, but if they push it out to far i'll probably cancel it and just get the normal version locally at a walmart or something.
Horrible decision, and if they try to charge full price per episode they will lose so much money. If it's 3 episodes and each are 20 bucks I can understand sort of, however it shouldn't even be episodic in the first place. Plain and simply this is a money grab in my opinion, and it's going to be even worse if it's more than 3 episodes. Also what if they pull a FFXV, oh I guess we're done with DLC sorry we aren't finishing the episodes, or heck look at that half life 2 episode 3 that never came out. Unfortunately this will still be bought up, but I can tell you they may price people out of it if they try to put each episode out at too high a price.
I've barely used my PSVR, it's definitely really cool, but most of the cool stuff i've seen has been so bite size in experience mostly being demos only. I think Skyrim VR & Borderlands 2 VR would be cool to play, but I've already played the heck out of those games. However NMS I have never played so this might give me a reason to finally check out the game. I still don't know if 4.2 million units is really a soaring amount, it still feels like such a small drop in the bucket being less than 5% of the user base for PS4.
@Porco probably referring to the limited edition special glasses mentioned that see through clothes, guessing that could mean there is potential nudity with that.
Been looking for something great for my PSVR, and just don't really have much to play for it. Once this goes down in price after it's released for a bit i'll probably consider picking it up.
I originally was going to pick up DS R for my switch, but that got cancelled on pre-order. Now my plan is to trade in DS 3 now while it's still got some value and then pick up this trilogy when it inevitably gets a price drop.
I believe developers shouldn't announce a game until they believe they can get it launched within the next year at least. Announcing a game right when you've just started development just leads to people questioning everything you are doing and why isn't the game ready or why do we not have any information about the game.
I say bring them both on I'll take Nioh 2 and still interested to see From Softwares take on what Nioh did as well. Them feeding off each other should just mean better games overall.
I think I put an hour or 2 into FFXII when it first came out on PS2, couldn't get into it at that time, I think I was just playing a bunch of other stuff. I don't think I liked the combat system as much then, however after playing FFXV I have a better appreciation for the combat system of this I think. I'm really enjoying my time in FFXII already got like 18 hours played.

Re: Talking Point: Did Sony PlayStation's E3 2017 Press Conference Crush the Competition?
I'm a sony fan, but man that felt really disappointing with a lack of new stuff to see. Also there was a couple games with WAY too much QTE's.
