@nessisonett That's a great example - the artwork of games from this era was made with CRT displays in mind, so the way they blur pixels together is something the developers worked with when they were creating the artwork. So the way it looks with the filter on is how it is supposed to look.
@WadeIsInsane I find stretched way more distracting than black borders, especially on games I've played before because my brain will be telling me something is off the whole time if everything is the wrong shape, whereas black borders on either side are no more distracting than the wall behind my TV.
