I'll probably be getting my PS4 around the time I'll be getting this and, annoyingly, I'll have to keep my PS3 at home (and take my PS4 to my flat). So excited for this though, still trying to get past Smough and Ornstein in the first game!
I shall be preparing to die very shortly. Dark Souls is one of my favourite games ever. The way the narrative unfolds, the environments, the level design - all of them make it such a memorable game.
If anyone knows what they're doing with the Batman franchise, it's Rocksteady. I had a long conversation with Sefton Hill at an event where they were promoting Arkham Asylum. They are so clued up on the character, the environment, and where they want to take the story - it's nice seeing developers actually care about their products. Topped it all off with him giving me a free Arkham Asylum poster signed by all the developers!
@KAPADO Given the development time, and all the issues the game faced with THQ going under, this was never ever meant to be a next-gen release. It's ill fortune though that it has released when the PS4 and Xbox One have been out for a few months.
@get2sammyb I'm really intrigued by it. It looks a lot like Dark Souls, which I absolutely love, so this is a good thing. Also cool that it's free-to-play!
I've been playing the beta on PC and it's an incredibly fun game. I wasn't that bothered by it before hand, but after actually playing it, this could definitely be a 'CoD killer'. Which does beg the question as to why EA would let it be exclusive on Xbox One. It has the potential to sell very well and extra console means more sales.
I'm not too bothered by this, but I am a man. I'm sure I'd be singing a different tune if I was a girl. Also, I'm struggling to work out what story elements could be so important that it HAS to include male only protagonists. And if it's a prince-saving-the-damsel-in-distress kind of scenario, well, I thought the we'd moved on from that.
@get2sammyb As a fan of both South Park and Trey and Matt in general, I am massively excited by this game. More so due to Obsidian developing and the fact that Trey and Matt have been involved in every aspect of the game. In recent previews are anything to go by, fans should be excited!
@PocketPenguin Yeah I've never been that into the game, apart from Mega Man II. This seems like it might bring in a new audience. It definitely look interesting.
@get2sammyb I reckon this is definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to zombie games. The genre is slightly stagnant, but was revitalised with The Last of Us. Let's see if this was continue the trend.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Director Stunned by PS4's Visual Prowess
I would love Sakurai to develop a PS4 game. Smash Bros. is the best.

@get2sammyb Framed and in my room!

Re: Buckle Up with Four Minute Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer
Well, I'm going to have to get a PS4 fairly soon.
Re: Review: South Park: The Stick of Truth (PlayStation 3)
Great review, hoping I won't suffer the framerate issues when playing on my PC (as it's considerately more powerful than a PS3). Gonna order this now.
Re: The Knights Suit Up in New The Order: 1886 Trailer
@viciousarcanum My bad. As @get2sammyb has said, the article has been updated.
Re: Sorry Europe, You Won't Be Probing Any Bottoms in South Park: The Stick of Truth
PC version it is for me then. Shame, I was planning on getting this for PS3.

Re: More Special Treatment as PS4 Gets Best Version of Ground Zeroes
@get2sammyb I would say almost definitely. It seems like the PS4 has taken the mantle that the 360 had last-gen as the go-to console.
Re: PS4's First Branded Hardware Bundle Is a Bit Foxy
Depending on when and if this is released in Europe, I might get it as my PS4. I guess I could just import. We'll see.

Re: Settle into South Park with 13 Minutes of Stick of Truth Gameplay
@Swiket "A white thief? Never heard of one, but interesting." I think they've absolutely nailed the writing in this.

Re: PS4 Parkour-'Em-Up Dying Light Shines in New Trailer
@RyoHazuki You should pick up Mirror's Edge if you can. Great title and cheap now too. Not perfect, but visually impressive and a lot of fun.

@PocketPenguin Yeah I've never been that into the game, apart from Mega Man II. This seems like it might bring in a new audience. It definitely look interesting.
Re: PS4 Answers the Call of Duty with Next-Gen Focus for First-Person Property
@Foxy47 I reckon Treyarch did well with World at War and I enjoyed the more gory take on WW2. Wouldn't mind a game like that again.

Re: UK Retailer GAME to Tackle Pre-Owned Market with GAMEtronics Stores
@Foxy47 They're definitely going to have to rethink their prices and policies if they want these stores to have any sort of a chance.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V Will Launch on PS4 if Consumers Want It
I reckon they'll probably port it. They'd make enough money out of it, and it would only look sweeter on a next-gen console.
Re: UK Retailer GAME to Tackle Pre-Owned Market with GAMEtronics Stores
@get2sammyb Salt in the wound, although if GAME's prices are anything to go by, I'm sure CEX have nothing to worry about.
