Re: Savvy PS5, PS4 Users Stocking Up on PS Now Subs to Convert into PS Plus Premium

@KidBoruto I've never bought Plus or Now at full price, too expensive for how much I actually use it. I definitely won't be paying £100 a year, but it's still going to be a huge payout to play older games. I'm not sure I'll bother with the top tier tbh.

There's a few comments around taking advantage of the loophole to rip off Sony, but I can't help notice that Sony just got a lot of money from a lot of people, for years worth of loyalty in advance! Almost certainly buying into the related deals and dlc in the process.

IMO I'd say Sony has done well out of the loophole!

I'm going to agree with this. As a dad gamer I go most months thinking it's a shame there's nothing that my younger kids can play! I can see why people would be pissed that there's nothing for them, but there must be millions who see each months FPS / action / racing games as no good to them...

I've got some good news for anyone who was buying a PS5 to play PS/PS2/PS3 games. You can have ALL three consoles, right now with no pre-order waiting, for less than £250. That'll save you a massive £200, as they all have disc drives, and you'll get some games and often extra controllers thrown in... I'm joking, but seriously how many old pre PS4 would you play?? If the answer is lots then do yourself a favour and get your own retro console of choice.
I have a PS3 with over 200 games on the HDD. I don't play it. I have literally hundreds of PS4 games that I have yet to invest any real time in. Occasionally I spend a bit of time on a 16 bit console, just for the nostalgia factor.
I'm going to put the point out there that if Microsoft weren't trying to draw in users then they wouldn't have invested the expensive resources on BC. It's not developing the basic emulator that's the hard part. It's getting thousands of games to run properly on it to make it live up to everyone's expectations!
