@CutchuSlow you’ve basically shown why Nintendo are suing them, they’re not gliding on Pokémon cos Palworld is not a Pokémon game… but if folk are confusing the two because of the similarities then you can assume it could lead to lost profits or bad publicity if folk assume Pokémon suddenly have guns in their games. Some of the Pals are blatant ripoffs of Pokémon designs but probly just different enough to avoid copyright infringement otherwise that would be the main point of the case. Petty to go for them on other patents perhaps but overall justified to try and make sure the games cannot be confused with each other.

Geez folk are so entitled these days… why didnt sony do what i want them to do cos me being happy is clearly the most important thing in the world… they didnt have to do anything for the anniversary, the fact they did anything, and as a free update, is a nice bonus

This article is incredibly misleading. Sales revenue in general is down, down 35% of boxed games, but that 1% down is for digital sales across console, pc, mobile, tablet, so is a very unfair comparison. Console digital sales are down by 15% according to your source, but…. Nowhere does it say what the total sales were. Nowhere does it tell the split between brand new games and games on sale, nowhere does it have figures excluding digital only sales. There is no actual insight in this article except that across the board the UK spent less in gaming… which is unsurprising considering the cost of living crisis. But maybe that would make a less interesting article…

Don’t think it’s fair to compare numbers to a Lego star wars game tbh, that being a well known and hugely popular movie series and the only way to play through the story of the movies(I think). This… is a lego remake of a game that literally just got a remake. I enjoy the Horizon games but the timing was awful, having just played the remake I am in no rush to get back into it yet again. I did buy it tho, it is just gonna wait in the backlog for a while lmao

Obviously fake, but if it wasn’t it would be a horrible idea. PS5 games are already being held back by ps4 versions and that would only encourage developers to make versions for both for even longer. We need ps4 to be let go already so this gen can actually start properly 😅

Considering its for use at home it seems like a non issue.
Sure if you’re using it while out in garden it may pose a problem but if you’re just using it cos either family members are using main tv or you’re in bed, then if battery gets low just plug yourself in at the mains. Handhelds all the way back to the gameboy and sega game gear i’ve used while sat near a plug half the time lmao

I fail to see how it proves your point or how they never gave them a chance or took any risks… the very fact they were funded to make a game at all was a risk and them being giving a chance. If whatever their project is indeed cancelled then it wasn’t good enough, simple as that. Though you know this and are clearly just trolling… so go back under your bridge already

Scalebound was an announced game, that got majorly hyped up and folk were looking forward to, and was cancelled 2 years later… in 2016.. and you're getting mad that an unannounced game with zero details is likely cancelled ? @Toypop what you’ve described and the way you’re acting on here shows exactly the kind of toxic practices that are the issue. You’re an awesome player, you do all the things, you don't get bullied so it isn’t an issue, right?
Oh those people who aren't good, who may be new, who don't follow the meta, it’s ok to call them names and boot them, thats not bullying cos you only did it once and never did that to them again, but continue to do the same to other new or less skilled players? Thats fine right?
No, not at all, cos if the whole community is all treating newer or less skilled players like that then that is bullying from the community itself, bullying doesn't have to be solely from person to another, and you’ve shown you are part of the problem with those replies.

As a company they don’t seem trustworthy at all, and I’d be worried about them cutting corners in checking how those new vents would affect airflow and the risk of overheating, as now the air would be coming in from the top sides instead of brought in through the front of the console. Sony designed it like that for a reason after all, even if it’s not to everyone’s tastes.

Full backwards compatibility with current psvr games would be a must,
analogue stocks on both controllers would be a must too, for me games like Skyrim suffer by having to tilt to move so I end up just using dualshock,
3d bluray support would be a must too, the current psvr just isn’t good enough resolution to make it worthwhile watching to me and as my 3D tv kicked the bucket I now have no way of watching them,
I’d like to think those would be happening anyways tho

Everything that costs real money is just time saving or cosmetic, don’t know why people hate that, entirely optional, and at no point does an npc try to sell you anything off of it, you can even get all the cosmetic stuff in game, sure, it’s random from loot boxes but it doesn’t cost real money, plus I had no issues with xp so had zero need for an xp boost. So all the hate Ubisoft gets for this is rather unwarranted but oh well...

@thefourfoldroot the ps5 and it’s ads aren’t aimed at people who know nothing about gaming tho, the cheaper version in 4 years time is when they’ll make their ads geared towards the more casual and less informed gamers, a non gamer isn’t gonna spend 450 quid on a console when they can get a PS4 or a switch for way cheaper, so I think you’re being just slightly pedantic lol

No chance are Sony going to just drop VR, this is no doubt just to prevent issues when they do bring out a new PSVR headset for ps5, going forward we will know all ps5 VR games will be for the new headset, saves confusion in the future. Of course they could have communicated things better to save confusion now too xD

That’s the end of playstation, everyone will cancel their preorders now, Sony will go out of business, the world is gonna end... folk really need to get a grip. Everyone is nitpicking about everything Sony does with ps5 and it’s almost all overreacting to things that don’t matter at all

I don’t get why people are so angry bout it, games that are getting free upgrades are free because both PS4 and ps5 versions are being developed at once, so its not costing developers more to go back to it. insomniac made the ps5 version long after the PS4 one. If you don’t wanna pay for it again, don’t, play the PS4 version via bc, or even better, play it now on your actual PS4’s in preparation for miles morales on launch day 🤷‍♂️
