The latest Persona 5 spin-off, Persona 5 Tactica, has been out on PS5 and PS4 for a week now, and you know what that means! That's right, we want to know what you think of the Phantom Thieves' new adventure, as the chibi-fied protagonists partake in some strategic battles.
Although we're definitely growing a bit tired of Joker and the gang's seemingly never-ending side excursions, we did enjoy this one's gameplay. "Consistently good during fights, customising your party and mastering its many stages is where the game is at its best," is what we wrote in our Persona 5 Tactica PS5 review.

Personally loved the game. Might even be my Goty 😮
Been watching my partner play the game and she says it's an 8 so far but for me personally it's a 6/7 type of game, the combat looks good and interesting art but the fact there's nothing to do or explore outside of battle is very disappointing. It's more expensive than games like Disgaea and Mario & Rabbids which both offer way more content for your money, and other strategy Rpg's like Monark Fire Emblem and Triangle Strategy also are a better option in my opinion. It's definitely a wait for a sale kind of game.
I didn't buy it. Sad to say I'm glad I didn't.
There should be more tactics spin offs of popular Japanese games.
It's not the deepest SRPG but it has been fun. My biggest complaint is that I wish there was more of it.

Not the deepest game, but enjoying it. Overusing fatigue of P5 is occurring. Likely a 7/10 but worth a play. Getting it done before juggernaut pf JRPGS in first 4 months of 2024 to come
Just received it in the mail today after an absolutely bizarre delay (preordered it as well). But, it’s going to be very hard to justify putting down Sekiro. I feel like I’m closing in on the end and finally getting decent at the combat. Can’t wait for NG+
Anyways, I think P5T will be a great “less intense” break from all the heavy games I’ve been playing. Pretty excited for it tbh. There’s just way too many good games I haven’t played to make me so indecisive 😭😭😭
8 out of 10 for me, I love Toshiro and Erina!!! I hope they get added to Persona 5 The Phantom X
@Rmg0731 no P5 fatigue from me, it’s always great to spend more time with video game characters you love. Better that than to never see them again.

Yeah I was going to jump into it before learning that the events occurred during Persona 5... which I started and never got far into, lol.
Nothing outstanding. The battle system got bland quick for me. By the time I was done with it all I wanted was to play a more classic tactics RPG. I'd give it a 6.
I would've liked it more if I wasn't fatigued from the other 3 persona 5 games I've played
