Well, we saw it coming, but that still didn't stop February from being an absolutely frantic month for PlayStation. Between a number of popular new PS5 and PS4 releases and the arrival of PSVR2, we were kept extremely busy for the full 28 days — and now it feels like we're still trying to catch up here in March!
But enough about our troubles. We want to know what game you enjoyed most last month. Was it the obvious choice of Hogwarts Legacy? Maybe you fell in love with Like a Dragon: Ishin? Or perhaps Destiny 2: Lightfall coaxed you back into Bungie's shooter? If you need a recap of February's biggest games, you can check out the most popular reviews we wrote:
So, what was your favourite PS5 or PS4 game from February 2023? Vote in our poll, and then tell us all about your adventures in the comments section below.
Please note that this poll doesn't include the PSVR2's launch games because there simply isn't enough space. We'll be hosting a separate, PSVR2-specific poll in the near future, so keep an eye out!

Was a hard choice between Hogwarts Legacy, Wild Hearts and Octopath Traveler 2, but literally playing Hogwarts now and it's amazing how surreal this game is, the attention to detail and exploration is amazing. So that gets my vote.
Game of the year so far.
Like a Dragon Ishin > Hogwarts Legacy that's right I said it. What are you going to do about it. 😼
Hogwarts simply because I haven’t got Ishin yet. It had the misfortune of hitting around the time of VR2. Hogwarts just snuck in (although I’ve barely played it recently, obviously). It is a great game.
Only picked up Ishin out of these. Definitely getting Hogwarts after Ishin, RE4 and maybe Dead Island2 is done with, it'll be on a nice juicy sale by then too. As for Ishin, still in chapter 4 some 30 odd hours later cause doing everything to 100% in another life first, plus all the other messing around in the game like fishing, substories, friendships and arenas
Horizon Call of the Mountain.
Absolutely love it. Only about 4 or so hours in but I’m taking my time, just spent 30 minutes painting on the wall haha. Looking at absolutely everything. Dropping and throwing everything I can from high places.
I love the Horizon world, so to be in it, it’s amazing.
Hogwarts Legacy and Octopath 2 for me. Also, not a new game but GT7 on PSVR2 is incredible.
Octopath traveler 2 and Hogwarts legacy.word up son
Definitely HL. So bummed they are not planning on releasing DLC. Octopath 2 is decent but I've lost some motivation to continue it.
Theatrhythm is a weird omission after this website gave it so much praise. It’s a final fantasy game which makes it weirder.
Eitherway I loved theatrhythm and ishin, only started playing hogwarts today.

Hogwarts Legacy (only one from the list that I have played) and I'm loving it. I am around 25 hrs in and still enjoying the world.
Didn't play a single new game in February.
Hogwarts. I’m close to getting the platinum now and I’ve enjoyed every minute. I know it’s only March but it’s already my pick for GOTY. I’ll be keeping hold of it and will do a full replay of the main story with the different houses eventually.
How about second poll question. How many of these games did you play? 0, 1, 3, 5, all. I picked hogwarts as that is all I played.
Theatrhythm getting snubbed like always on here lol. Definitely my favorite of February. As much as I'm enjoying Hogwarts, I'd rather be playing a rhythm game of Final Fantasy music
Really enjoying Wild Hearts even with the occasional slowdown. I didnt have the time to play Octopath Traveler 2 though but I'll circle back to it later in the year (I hope)
@Judal27 Oh wow yeah I forgot about it! The demo was super fun! I'll add it to my wishlist. Just too many games this year 😖
@3Above understandable, it's not like SE has done much to promote it anyway outside of it being in one of the Ninty directs xD. It's a really good game
Yes, it was the obvious choice in February with Hogwarts and I expect March will be an obvious choice too.
Hogwarts without a shadow of a doubt. Awesome game on so many levels. Its going to take something special to beat this for goty.

@ShogunRok D'oh!
Very easy. Hogwarts rules! 😁
@Happymoogle down vote you, that’s about all I can do. 🤣
Haven't played any of these yet, so I can't really choose a favourite right now. I'll get Hogwarts Legacy once the PS4 version releases, and I want to hold off on Like A Dragon: Ishin until after playing some other Yakuza games first.
As if anything else ...Hogwarts, bruv.
Like A Dragon Ishin because it's the only game from this month I've played. I have Octopath Traveler II sitting ready to be played any day now when LAD is done
The issue for me is I haven’t beat any of the games I picked up, I’m right at the end of Hogwarts but have only put in 2 hours of Octopath and I already know it’s a better game than Hogwarts.
Ishin was the only one I bought, so my vote goes to that.
I'll admit, Hogwarts looks like a fun time though.
Atomic Heart really surprised me, never expected it to be this good.
Other games listed I have zero interest in unfortunately.
Nothing yet, but it'll definitely be Hogwarts Legacy when I finally get around to playing it.
Horizon: Call of the Mountain, i play mostly VR so i haven't tried a single game that's listed. My backlog of pancake games is severely lagging behind, still lost in God of War 2018 and Days Gone to give some sort of indication, lol. I want to give Atomic Heart a chance someday, but that will likely be when PSVR 2 is at the end if it's lifecycle and new releases have dried up i guess. Next pancake game i will get at the launch will be Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom btw, only Switch game that can make me boot that thing up again after three years of gathering dust, lol.
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood.
Hogwarts Legacy, definitelly... I'm still making my way through it.
For March it will be Resident Evil 4 Remake - can't wait!
Octopath Traveller II. Easily the best RPG i've played since Dragon Quest XI S Definitive Edition
Buying new games? No way am I paying £70 for something I can get half price or less if I just wait a while and play my backlog instead.
But on the other hand, you early adopters are pretty damn important to the industry... and Warner-Brother CEO's new gold-covered swimming pool, of course.
@Perturbator Or maybe we can be smart early adopters, and use offers like "1 month for 1$" of Game Pass to play games on day one, and cd key sites to get good discounts for games not included in such services, even for day 1.
As for those that already have a lot of $$ - a price like 70$/£/E is "coffee money", of course they get the games day one - you would too, if you were in their shoes...
@Shinnok789 $1? Here I was about to put a medal of distinguished consumer service on your uniform... but it turns out you're even cheaper than me.
Are you seriously implying that the WB CEO should make do with a mere silver-covered swimming pool?
Hogwart and octopath 2 for me
Octopath II without a doubt.
