I think this might be the first ever year where none of the editorial team picked the same GOTY. Something for everyone!
Thank you Push Square for being the chillest site to comment on for gaming. The community is fantastic with usually no bad eggs. It’s a lot more fun & peaceful to comment and interact here than anywhere else from my experience. I hope 2025 is a wicked good year for gaming and Push Square!!
Congrats to Infinite Wealth for at least securing up one win here! Well deserved so atta boys! By any chance, did you guys do a music award? My vote would’ve been for FF7 Rebirth with Persona 3 Reload, Stellar Blade, and Metaphor Re:Fantazio rounding out my top 4 (in no order for those 3).
I see a great outcry incoming:
DD2 on 8, Stellar Blade on 4. But DD2 became Best Action Game.
@Cloud39472 next week's lottery numbers are 4 24 25 31 39 49.
Enjoy your retirement!
@ShogunRok some good games you've all chosen, although one of you was way off.
All good choices. What’s odd is there’s no mention of Black Myth Wukong, a game that won the players choice award but which I always thought was mid and overrated. And this was the year of Balatro, a game I’ll probably be playing for the next two years
A shame there’s no Best Music’ category this year. Ah well. I enjoyed combing through the coverage!
@Cloud39472 mate, now that I've written them down I may have to play them so let's form a pact and share the winnings 😁
@Cloud39472 👍
I don't even know when the draw is. When do they do it?
@Cloud39472 good luck Cloud! This could be the start of a new life 😄😄😁 I'm not in the country at the moment so will miss next week. I don't gamble either, it's been years since I've done the lottery.
@Cloud39472 imagine if we win!!!! Id buy Konami and tell them to make a new Pro Evo 😁
@Cloud39472 same. And if I can help it neither will as many of my friends and family as I can afford
SMTV:V is my GOTY. In short, the most original and well made game so far. Sad that PushSquare snob this game, despite the universal critical acclaim it got.
Rebirth didn't win anything ? Not even best remake ????? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
It was a great year and I really like your choices. Glad to see Like A Dragon gets the recognition it deserves.
