It's Super Bowl weekend this weekend, so where's your money at? We're pulling for the Kansas City Chiefs, but both teams are dangerous on their day, so it could go either way. Sports clichés aside, let's trot along with today's WAYP.
Aaron Bayne
I'll be slowly working my way through the USG Ishimura this weekend. This is my first playthrough of Dead Space, and I've been having a blast with the remake so far.
Graham Banas
In addition to working on a review for Akka Arrh, I'll continue to slowly plug away at the remake of one of my all-time favourites: Dead Space. I've been trying to keep myself to no more than an hour a day to savour the experience, and it's every bit as incredible as I remember it being back in 2008!
Jamie O'Neill
2022 was a banner year for retro collections, so it's worth noting that you can save 50% on Sonic Origins in the current Critics' Choice PS Store sale. There's also talk of a possible Sonic Origins Plus on the horizon, though, if you'd rather wait.
Khayl Adam
I got a snazzy new Steam Deck and can't put it down, and I'm dangerously invested in my current XCOM: Enemy Within campaign. If I can finish that up, I'd also like to see the Dead Space remake on PS5 through to the credits, but only playing in company, during the day, of course.
Liam Croft
I've still got a lot of work to do in Hogwarts Legacy, but I can probably take a little breather this weekend and return to my Hi-Fi Rush playthrough.
Scott McCrae
This weekend I'm bringing out the Steam Deck and diving into Hideo Kojima's Cyberpunk adventure: Snatcher, a game with perhaps the most immaculate vibes imaginable. I've never gotten past the first act before so I'm excited to finally dig into this one. On the PlayStation side I'm excited to check out OlliOlli World and Evil Dead thanks to PS Plus.
Simon Fitzgerald
With only two weekends left of the excruciatingly long wait for PSVR2 I’ve decided to pick up Dicey Dungeons that released on PlayStation this week. I just hope it is a decent enough distraction to keep me from watching any more PSVR2 previews videos.
Stephen Tailby
I'm still putting in some time with Hogwarts Legacy for work, but as soon as that's done, I'm diving head first back into PowerWash Simulator. I can't wait to spend a couple of hours blasting the grime off a filthy, digital house.
That's what we're all playing this weekend, then, but what about you? You know the drill by now, so let us know in the comments section below.

Cracking on with Cyberpunk this weekend, going to make some story progress. Then away with work for a few days so I'll be breaking out the Switch.
Edit: Hogwarts Legacy just dropped through the letterbox...
"Y'er a lizard, Barry". Pretty much everyone I know is playing "Hogwarts Legacy" this weekend - I can't remember the last time that happened - probably when "TLoU2" came out. Very impressed so far.
Just finished off the plat on Doom Eternal this morning... so gonna move on to Deathloop now to get the online trophies dusted... and maybe some Dante's Inferno too if I get the time.
Hogwarts Legacy - been looking forward to the game for a long time so when positive reviews started being published I bought the deluxe version so I could drop every other game and start playing Hogwarts right away.
And wow, what a game. Love it!
I’m very close now to finishing my impossible play-through of Dead space. I’ve really enjoyed replaying this classic. I hope they remake part 2 as well as i think it’s as good if not better than the first
Finished up P4G, and suffered from the dreaded "Post Persona Depression"...
So...decided against leaping straight into P3.
However I'm still of a mind for some classic Japanese gaming so I've dug 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐳𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐦𝐢 out of the back log.
I've only played through 0 and LaD before and throughly enjoyed them both and, so far, Kiwami is living up them both. Crazy substories and compelling main story.
And karaoke. So much karaoke!
Enjoy your weekend and gaming.
Forspoken. And after 56 hours 37 minutes I heard the sweet ping of the Platinum. You can probably get the platinum in around 40 hours but I enjoyed the game so much, I just took my time and did nearly all of the side content (which isn’t required). This was the first big surprise of the year for me.
Now I have a dilemma… continue Dead Space or start Hogwarts Legacy…? Or Sonic Frontiers…?
Like most, I've been playing Hogwarts Legacy since Tuesday and it's very good. Fantastic attention to detail but I'm just hoping more gameplay elements are introduced..I'm sometimes thinking "Can I have a go?"...
Also will start the utterly brilliant Metroid Prime Remastered on Switch. One of the best games ever made. Ever. It's my dream come true that Nintendo released this yesterday. Any Switch owners on here, I urge you to buy it and play it if you haven't already done so. Gaming as an art form
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
Hogwarts legacy for me, as well as catching up on episodes 4 and 5 of the Last of Us
@ItsBritneyB_tch I really want Forspoken but the reviews put me off......can you recommend it ha ha ? It does look like a game I'd enjoy
Just like most people on here it's Hogwarts Legacy for me. Not a big Harry Potter fan, but this game is great. Such a beautiful and detailed world. Haven't found anything negative about it yet. Haven't encountered a bug yet after 13 hours of playing.
It's a rare occasion but it's the first time in ages I'm only playing 1 game. But that's also partially due to Ishin releasing this week. So don't want to dive into another game.
Finished Infernax and A Plague Tale Innocence this week, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Today I fancy something short not too complicated so will be playing The Gunk on Gamepass.
Hogwarts for me. Only played a few hrs last night but loving it so far. Watch the rugby this afternoon and few drinks so got the morning to play, and tomorrow and off on monday so can get properly stuck into it. Happy gaming everyone !!!
Hoping to get the last few time trials done on Hot Wheels Unleashed (PS5) and then the ensuing grind for gears!
Also... Superbowl baby!!!
Bring on some Mahomes bendy arm magic throws and make those cry Eagles cry.
Enjoy your weekend and gaming peeps.
The one and only Hogwarts Legacy for me. Played it until 2am last night and had to peel myself away from the controller and force myself to bed! What a game!
The Metroid Prime remaster that dropped out of nowhere, the Dead Space remake that did not drop out of nowhere, and between those being my big games, I’ll also be playing Dead Cells and Castlevania Rondo of Blood. Getting unreasonably hyped for Dead Cells Return to Castlevania next month, and I don’t know if that’s my love for both Dead Cells and Castlevania, or just my sheer desperation for a new Castlevania game period.
My gaming weekend will pay homage to the big sporting event taking place this weekend: Rally Sweden! (the one that matters, anyway )
As such, WRC Generations will provide the occasional burnt rubber smell and if I need a break from all the rallying goodness going on I might swing around as Miles Morales for a bit
🧙🏻♂️🔥🏰🦋🕯️🧹 A game where these things, among others, appear a lot.
Same effect that happened after RDR2 is what's happening after Elden Ring - a bit hard enjoying other games. So yeah still sauntering in the Lands Between with Blaidd, just beat Radahn second time. Plus AC Valhalla and GoT.
My 'Hogwarts Legacy' hasn't shown up yet, so I guess it will be Iconoclasts and Modern Warfare 2.
PS+ made me an offer I cannot refuse, so I'm just about to start Mafia 1.
I see most people are playing Hogwarts, I've put off buying that until it has full PSVR 2 support.
Will it happen? Shakes magic 8 ball.
"Outlook not so good". Oh
Art of rally, no heroes allowed!, saints row southwest and possibly yakuza 5 if I can manage to slog through the prison chapter.
I'm playing Minesweeper at the moment. I hate this game. those 50/50s... my best time is 247s. challenge me.
also Octopath 2 demo. very good so far. the fact that cutscenes are fully voiced made my day. I'm lazy.
@KingPev It’s a tough one to recommend because the reception to it has been so polarising.
The first hour or so was painful - the character controls felt really clunky and the dialogue was comically bad. But after a while (I think once you’re given free reign of the map) it all sort of warmed to me. I focused on levelling up my powers and clearing POI’s on the map and the gameplay became so addictive. The dialogue was still horrendous but I found myself laughing with it rather than at it. I just accepted that it had its own unique and quirky personality.
You might not have the same experience as I did but there’s a good chance you will too.
Hogwarts of course, and probably finishing branch B and C of Drakengard 3
@GoodGame heck yes, Iconoclasts is such a good game! Played on the Vita
On PS5 its just Hogwarts Legacy this weekend, so far its been amazing and easily the best game of the year so far.
And on Switch is more Fire Emblem Engage, Bayonetta 3 and of course Splatoon 3 with the latest splatfest this weekend, Go team White Chocolate!
Bit of collectible hunting in Anno Mutationem to pop the platinum then carrying on my Thymesia playthrough. Really surprised at how good the combat is in this game, would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent Soulsborne game. Have a good weekend all!
@ItsBritneyB_tch ..ah you've sold me 🙂
@ItsBritneyB_tch ..I'll definitely be picking it up at some point. Thanks !
Hogwarts for me.
I'll give the Octopath Traveller II demo a go too.
I played a little last night and really liked what I saw.
Was about 40hrs into the excellent Ys 9, but then Hogwarts dropped and I’m around 8hrs into that (the wife has been hogging it, lol).
So Hogwarts, which I’m loving so far. Will try to get as far as possible before next gen releases on the 22nd.
i still got a backlog to finish and i bought sonic adventure 2 on PC about 2 weeks ago and been meaning to refund it because it’s runs too fast no pun intended but knowing my laziness i’ll just keep it and look up tutorials on how to optimize on PC myself
one of these days
Finishing Assassin's Creed C. Russia. Damn that subseries is hard. I'm thinking of investing some hours in AC Syndicate or Devil May Cry 5 SE too. Happy weekend folks!!
The Witcher 3 I need to really push on with this so I can move on and fully immerse myself in Hogwarts Legacy next, but the side quests, contracts and Gwent are still too good to skip.
And then there is FIFA pro clubs that might just get in the way of proper game time if people make me play that 😭 and it's a huge weekend for sport too, which I'm obligated to watch as I'm paying for it 😭😂
The big question though...
Super Bowl party snacks, what have we got lined up?
Want to finish up Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7. Trying to get the remaining trophies, one for getting 100% on missions which I'm currently 99%, and to finish the final boss in the story. After that I'm free to move onto Hogwarts Legacy
I'm currently playing through Evil West on PS5 and having a blast, not sure I will platinum this one but we'll see.
Also my copy of Indie Heroes 2 arrived for the Evercade so I'll be diving into that mainly for Tapeworm Disco Puzzle!
Have a good one folks.
I had started Elden Ring late last Saturday, but I'm hooked on reading just now. Current book is Hyperion by Dan Simmons, So I'll mostly be reading that later tonight. First though I'm off out to football thing the 90 minutes of footie will be a snoozefest but I'll persevere for the free grub and booze.
Have a great weekend everyone!
I'm a wizard @ Hogwarts and absolutely loving it so far.
Have a good weekend
Elden Ring Im coming up on 80 hours played. Dead Space, Final Fantasy Reunion and Marvel Midnight Suns. Very excited for Metroid Prime Im getting the physical version and Zelda looks outstanding
SWITCH
Metroid: Prime Remastered
Been waiting ages for the rumors to become reality, so once they shadowdropped this in the Direct, i bought it no doubt. Never played before, sure it feels like an older game, but the hybird of FPS and Metroid works great, it runs a beautiful 60fps too.
PC Game Pass
Citizen Sleeper
This is an intresting one, im streaming via mobile. Part visual novel, part survival sim, part RPG. Really odd combo, but quite intriguing so far.
Plague's Tale: Requiem
Loved the first one, was so underrated, happy to see it get a sequel. Looks gorgeous on PC, and story is quality. Gameplay wise, it really feels like same old, at least with the rat stuff. Only did 2 chapters so far.
QUEST 2
Until You Fall
Slick style, fun loop and banging music. Very fun, if unforgiving. Finally made it to the final boss last night...but got my ass handed to me quick. Will try again tonight.
Im playing the excellent days gone.one of the most cool underrated games ever made.deacon st john is a really good protagonist.days gone got a good graphics and good story also.the zombies.the boss fights is nice.and i really like the gameplay.the graphics looks really good on my ps4 pro.not one glitches.of the hours i play.vanquish.is a favorite of mine.i play it on my ps3.but im glad it's on ps4 also.the gameplay of vanquish is easily one of the best of any games i ever play.the story is ok.the graphics looks good.the boss fights is amazing.star wars jedi fallen order.cool excellent soul like gameplay.im far in star wars fallen order.the graphics looks good on my ps4 pro.the story is really good.boss fights is excellent.and octopath traveler 2 demo.wow.i already knew that octopath traveler 2 was going to be a good game.but the game is excellent.especially the story of osvald.the voice acting in this game is wonderful.the gameplay is amazing.the boss fights is excellent.the story.especially osvald is really good.im definitely buying octopath traveler 2 and osvald story is excellent.and i like his magic gameplay.octopath traveler 2 is gonna be a hit.watching the Superbowl .watching my boston Celtics play💚🖤.watching my Michigan wolverines play 🏀.watching legendary sitcoms 📺 tv comedy in Sanford and son.saved by the bell.and martin.word is bond.word life.word to your mother.word to god.word up son
Metroid Prime Remastered, I was very suprised to see this game announced and released the same day last, had the original and this is a great update.
@JamieO Origins is a good collection overall, but it really could benefit from some better screen filter options. The 'Plus' Id like to see would be the addition of the 8-bit the Master System and Game Gear games, maybe even the Neo Geo Pocket game as I've never played that one!
@playstation1995 Dang dude, you're busy this weekend.
@ThorsHammer I.played Metroid Prime on the Game cube back in 2003. Was and still is one of the greatest games ever made. Enjoy
I snapped up the Remaster yesterday, didn't even know it was a thing !!
Dead Space Remake and Bayonetta 2 for me. I think I’ll finally cave in to Hogwarts Legacy. It just sounds too good.
Beyond that just waiting on Atomic Heart and Wanted Dead to fill those action voids.
Hitman 3 working through the campaign for the first time... WRC 10 career mode... love it and hate it in equal measure lol but keep returning to it daily..... May give mafia a go thanks to plus but not sure how difficult it is.....
Hogwarts legacy of course. What a stunning game and the attention to detail is on another level. I'm no potter fan by any stretch so i'm playing this knowing next to nothing about the lore but i'm having so much fun. I have to take the dog out for his walk now and i dont want to but he's giving me that look. Have a brilliant weekend folks 👍
Hogwarts Legacy on PS5
Gears 5 on Xbox Series S
Metroid Prime Remastered on Switch
I had my 1st weekday-day-off in over a year so I got alot of gaming in yesterday. Today will be much the same, farming gear in MH Rise, Continuing the excellent Ragnorok and I just last night/this morning started a playthrough of FF7 Remake on PS5 as I only now noticed the trophy list is separate from the PS4 version so I can play it again and get the trophies all over.
Played and beat Gargoyle’s Quest, Mario Kart Super Circuit and Wario Wario Inc. Microgame$! the past week.
Currently still squeezing everything possible out of the Theatrhythm Final Bar Line Demo. Already out 14 hours into it.
Also still playing Hatsune Miku Project Diva F on vita and Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone on ps5.
Probably gonna play The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap next.
@ItsBritneyB_tch It’s a weird comparison, but I found Sonic Frontiers and Forspoken to be very similar games, so if you enjoyed Forspoken a lot, then I think you’ll like Sonic Frontiers.
Yakuza 2 Kiwami, might be able to finish the storyline this weekend. Also thinking about starting Beyond: 2 Souls.
I will be gleefully making my way through my birthday cake whilst playing more Power wash Simulator for a chill afternoon. I have a long weekend ahead of me so I’m hoping to finally start Persona 3 at some point.
Hogwarts Legacy of course! I have been absolutely hooked since the early access release and I don't see myself stopping any time soon. Just the most jolly game I've played in a long time!
Heck I've enjoyed it so much I picked up Sorcerer's stone and am going to give the books another go after bouncing off them as a kid surprisingly!
Say what you want about JK Rowling but there is a reason she is as successful as she is. Wonderful imagination!
Just finished my platinum run of Persona 4 Golden. It escalated into my Top 10- probably Top 7 of games all-time. Best $20 I’ve ever spent. Couldn’t resist a second quick clean up playthrough. Such an amazing cast of characters that make you feel a part of the gang. I would LOVE a “Strikers” version for P4G or a sequel with Nanako in HS with cameos from the OG cast.
Gonna take a break Saturday & Sunday- and maybe Monday- from all gaming. I’ll probably read a book until the Super Bowl. And make a few bets that won’t even come close to hitting.
Persona 4 Golden and The Legend of Heroes Trails from Zero on PS5 while I wait for Like A Dragon Ishin to release
Continuing my playthrough of the PS5 version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. I'm definitely enjoying playing the game for the first time, but I do wish there was less repetition with the combat. There's a decent amount of backtracking because it can be easy to get lost at times, and having everything respawn all the time can be a bit annoying. Still enjoying the game regardless though.
PS5 - Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
Well, I was discharged from hospital earlier this week after a 7-day admission. I’ll have to go back in for surgery in the next 2-3 months, but thankfully, I was able to make the most of being back home and finished The Last of Us Part I yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it, too. With that done and dusted, I think I‘ll move onto Stray this weekend. I’m also planning to revisit Returnal and this time commit to overcoming its savage difficulty.
This weekend I was planning on playing Hogwarts Legacy. I’ve been going through it since Monday morning and it’s been fun. It hasn’t grabbed my attention fully yet; I think it has to do with being overwhelmed on how big Hogwarts castle really is. And then the Nintendo Direct happened.
I’m now currently playing Metroid Prime Remastered. I’ve never played this beloved trilogy when it released on the GameCube and subsequently the Wii, but I do enjoy this franchise. I’ve gotta say — this game is fantastic.
Tonally, the game is superb, and the atmosphere is breathtaking. It has a genuine sci-Fi feeling. A lot of FPS’s have trouble making you feel like you’re in a different world altogether. Halo did it remarkably well, and Prime has achieved it in spades. You feel like an alien in a beautifully crafted but mysterious world itself, yet slowly empowered by collecting upgrades.
The other game I’m going to be playing is The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. This is the one LoZ game I never got to play as a kid, so I can’t have to have a fresh experience. I’ve been told it’s one of the best Zelda games overall, and that has me excited because I thoroughly enjoy the top-down view more than the 3D-model games.
I really can’t wait to see how this journey pans out for both of these games. I was needing a (new for me) Nintendo-esque pick-me-up game after being very disappointed with Fire Emblem Engage. And there is always something special about a really well crafted Nintendo game that Sony and Xbox can’t quite capture. I’ll be spending lots of time with this and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap this weekend.
Finally found the time to finish the story of God of War Ragnarok, so I'll probably start with something new. Crisis Core: FF Reunion has been sitting on my shelve since Christmas and I never played the original. Think I'll go with that one.
Borderlands 3. Ten out of Tenner; I think I paid for it. Amazing how cost can affect your opinion…
@Loamy come on, give renegade a go, it ends up feeling too good, i promise 😉
@The_Pixel_King im curious, how far are you into Returnal? I have a love hate with that game, but if you persists, its very rewarding.
Super Bowl weekend. I’ll probably just stick with Final Fantasy 7 remake on PS5.
Still chugging along through Persona 4 Golden, I'm on my 2nd playthrough, 130+ hours in, focused on completing as many Social Links as possible, but looks like I won't be able to complete Adachi, The Nurse & The Old Lady's Social Link until my 3rd Playthrough, whenever I decide to do that. I'm just about ready to move on to something else, like Forspoken, Hogwarts Legacy, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Persona 5 Strikers or FF& Crisis Core.
Unrelated but there's apparently a rumored 'leak' going around that PlayStation may have acquired a new Studio, a studio by the name of Ballistic Mooni, it's supposedly made-up of talent from Supermassive Games & Quantic Dreams, apparently there was a job listing from PlayStation (Apparently it's now taken down) for Music & Sound Design and it listed all First-Party Studios, but Ballistic Moon was listed among them, and it was the only non First-Party studio on the list. Apparently Ballistic Moon has partnered with PlayStation to create a New AAA Horror IP, but why would PlayStation be hiring for a studio they apparently do not own? However something similar actually happened 4-5 months before Insomniac Games & Bluepoint were acquired, can't be just a coincedence right?
Hogwarts Legacy all weekend long!!! Incredible attention to detail, a real blast to play, engaging combat. Great dialogue and of course graphics.
I’m feeling a strong sigh of relief that it turned out so well!
1. Hogwarts Legacy (PS5)
2. Hogwarts Legacy (SteamDeck)
3. God of War Ragnarok (PS5)
Hogwarts Legacy starts off with a bang, already loving it!
But now need to travel next week for work. So bought it again on Steam. If it runs well on my SteamDeck - moving to PC
Can always give my PS5 copy to my niece who is also a big fan. Good thing about buying games on a disc 😉👍
Just finished my Saints Row 4/Gat out of Hell play through and pulled the trigger on Dead Space (£55 at Amazon for the physical version which was nice), it’s every bit as good as I remembered. Necromorph-stomping-peng-fest, baby!
@KingPev I wanna play Metroid Prime remastered, but I’m already juggling Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Space, and Age of Empires 2, so will probably get it at a later date.
Not sure what to play, just counting down the days until psvr2 arrives. Cannot wait to be playing GT7 in VR. Dreams come true.
@ItsBritneyB_tch
Yeah... I just finished Forspoken. Good surprise and also enjoyed it, especially when I got a few magic trees open.
I also liked how there was always something on the map to do. If I was tired after work and only play for a bit or had a full afternoon - always found an activity that fit and felt I progressed.
I went from Forspoken to Hogwarts Legacy myself.
There is a Cats Cloak on Prime Gaming if you have it
https://gaming.amazon.com/cats-meow-cloak/dp/amzn1.pg.item.3eccaa73-5812-45f7-a546-410387b732c9?ingress=amzn&ref_=SM_FS01-2_P1_CRWN
Jumping into Metroid Prime Remastered, first time ever.
And some FF7 Remake. Also another first for me.
More Monster Hunter Rise. Im at HR 50 and need to beat All Mother Narwa but it's so damn annoying how much it moves around. Still this games been so amazing even if, and I can't stress this enough, it's been so extremely easy. The easiest MH I've played
Along side that Hogwarts Legacy. Just got back to the school. And it's alright so far. What I'm really trying to get to is the point where I can just explore and do quests. All the tutorial stop isn't the most exciting but still fun
FFXIV Stormblood. I'm tempted by Hogwarts Legacy but I can hold off until it's a little cheaper. I seem to be doing that a lot since I've bought a digital PS5. The store prices are shockingly extortionate.
Hogwarts Legacy, of course ...Haven't been this invested in a game in half a decade. It has truly brought light and joy back into a hobby I started to fear I've lost interest in and I couldn't be happier. The spark is back! Thank you, Avalanche!
I got to a retro arcade with my daughter today. We checked out duck hunt, crazy taxi, super mario galaxy 2, pac-man, snes mario kart and mario kart 64. Watching my daughter trying to comprehend a nintendo 64 controller was hilarious! Have a great weekend folks
Hogwarts, Dead Space, and Midnight Suns.
@dschons. 😄 haha yes.im having fun.haha.word up son
Jetpack Joyride (Windows Phone) - Starting another excellent time wasting game!
Rayman Jungle Run (Windows Phone) - Only need to complete a few more levels.
Tetris (Windows Phone) - Slowly getting used to the touch screen.
Callisto Protocol - Really enjoying it.
I got Dead Space, which is awesome! I like the changes they’ve made so far. I’ll be slowly playing through more of it. Broke an R2 spring on my Dual Sense though. Pretty easy process to change but really quite annoying to have to do this on an expensive, modern controller. I dislike the adaptive triggers, they add nothing but frustration. I’ve turned them off at system level now, hopefully that helps take pressure off the weak ass springs.
I am also on another Diablo 3 bender. Can’t fathom how many hours I’ve spent on this since it launched on PS3. I’m playing a mage, finally. I also picked it up on the Switch, where I am running a crusader. It’s insane on Switch, it runs so well. Why did I wait so long to get it. I’ll be playing this for years and years.
I'm playing Hogwarts Legacy, I'm quite enjoying it. I don't think I've every watched a Harry Potter film, I've definitely not read the books.
Dead Space Remake and Splatoon 3. May even dive into VR.
…same as last weekend, but I have purchased Children of Morta so will be giving that a go
At the ripe age of 34, I played Hogwarts Legacy for about 8 hours today and I feel pretty good about that.
I fell back in with Nioh 2 to finish up the DLCs, although I'm a little under levelled to kick Ren Hayabusa to the curb! I need some of his gear for trophy reasons.
I've also fallen into my comfort zone with it and just queue up to help randoms, its good xp and good farming for gear and materials.
GHOST OF TSUSHIMA NG+ in all its splendor on ps5. Such a beautiful game. Really great.
Ready to start THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL, usually not my kind of game, but I'm curious and decided to give it a try...
Playing "Chained Echos" and just picked up "Streets of ROUGE" so I'm going to bounce between those two games.
"Streets of ROUGE" was a fantastic deal during the PS indie sale for less than $5 for the Game +DLC collection.
Currently on my ‘Impossible’ run in Dead Space remake. Thoroughly enjoying it!!
@playstation1995 Absolutely LOVE Vanquish and I agree with you about the gameplay! One of the most fun and underrated games of the PS3 era. Also the toughest platinum I ever got. Harder than any game on my profile by a country mile simply because of that one trophy - ‘Tactical Challenger’. BRRRRUUUUUTAL!!!!
@DETfaninATL. Yes vanquish is a excellent game.the gameplay is still extremely fun.the story is ok.the graphics looks good on my ps4 pro.word up son
@Ristar24 Sorry for such a late reply, I spend a lot of time caring for the elderly in my family, so it's an especially hectic time for me at the moment.
I've been especially loving the extra features in Sonic Origins. I think it'd be great if other developers of collections became inspired by how its Story Mode creates a flow throughout a classic series by showing new opening and ending animations, and developers also put more effort into including worthwhile additions like its Boss Rush, Mission Mode challenges and especially the reverse perspective of Mirror Mode.
I spent a lot of time with Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure, it acts as an homage of the Mega Drive Sonic games in some ways, and it's a great looking game for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, although it understandably doesn't have fancy effects like parallax scrolling.
I hope you had lots of fun playing Metroid Prime Remastered. Back in November 2002 I imported Metroid Prime for my US GameCube, and I thought it was so amazing that I convinced my friend to swap his Xbox with my GameCube for a few weeks, so that he could complete Metroid Prime while I finished Halo: Combat Evolved.
Just as a heads up, even though you kindly copied my name into your comment, your message never reached either my email or my Push Square notifications, although I don't know if it was because my name was copied into you comment in the second paragraph down.
I always appreciate chatting with you about retro games, so as long as you don't mind getting a late reply like this, I'll try my best to respond even if it's further down the line.
@JamieO No worries at all, life can be quite busy these days, and gaming often has to take a back seat. I'm working today myself, but just popped onto Push Square for a usual check in of 'what are you playing this weekend', always interesting to read people's recomendations.
Origins is really good, looks very nice on the Switch OLED where the lack of screen filters are less noticable. I really recomend the Metroid Prime remaster, I also played the game back on the GameCube and am close to the end of the game now on Switch, it's a really great remaster of a classic.
