I installed CoD Modern Warfare (digital copy) on PS5. I only care about the SP campaign. I installed the endless modules. When I start the campaign, the opening cut scene's audio is not synced with the video. It crashed once before the cut scene was finished. Then it crashed again about 60 seconds into gameplay. Sony won't refund the game because I've had it longer than 14 days. I bought it during the Black Friday sale, and apparently everyone is obliged to immediately install every game they buy, despite buying many and not playing everything at once. This is the first issue I've ever had in 17 years of buying digital games.
It's not just a problem with the digital version.
I've had it on disc sinse day one. It was perfect on my PS4. Never had a problem.
On my PS5 though, nothing but problems. It randomly deletes packs so I have to redownload them.
The game crashes a lot, then I have to install packs again etc.
It takes almost a whole day too, then after a few games, it goes wrong again.
I gave up and deleted it completely.
@GoodGame Thanks for the feedback. I just nuked it from the SSD and am starting to download it again, which should be finished sometime around the time the sun burns out. I did an IM chat with Sony last night about a refund but they said no and just cut the IM off, like "screw off boom" I tried to call, but they're closed on the weekend. I think it's lame they run these sales, you probably buy multiple games, then if you don't play them within 2 weeks, you're screwed. Steam's refund policy is far better.
