I just want this now! why did they have to make it WII U exclusive (Hope its a timed exclusive), Give us a 2015 release date for Bayonetta 2 on PS4! Please?!
Bloodborne, I want it now! WHy did they make it a PS4 exclusive?! Give us a 2015 release date for Bloodborne on Wii U!
But really, Bayonetta 2 woudn't even exist if it wasn't for Nintendo. If you want to blame someone, blame Sony for not supporting it earlier. Anyway, the game is great, worth buying Wii U for

Paid for by Nintendo, owned by Nintendo (the name is owned by Sega, the series is co-owned by Sega and Platinum but the sequel is all owned by Nintendo). Agree with mateq, it's well worth buying a Wii U just for it. Or wait two years for the NX.
Just keep to the point. No need to add anything extra -Tasuki-

Not to derail the topic at hand, but I honestly didn't think the game was that good, and certainly not something that I'd buy a Wii U for. Just my personal opinion. The story and voice acting were garbage and the actual gameplay (the most important thing) has been done better in countless other action games. The visuals weren't even that good, and most of the "cut-scenes" were still images with voice-over. I have no idea how it took 3 years to make such a cheap looking game.
My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
If it had been published by SEGA - like it was originally going to be - then it would happen for sure, but Nintendo ultimately published and financed it, so it's never going to happen. It's unfortunate, but the game wouldn't exist without Nintendo, so it makes sense that they'd keep it on their system.

Fair play if you didn't enjoy it but the reason is Bayonetta 2 is already so highly thought of is almost everybody agrees it's the highlight of the genre and makes other games seem tired by comparison, even the better ones. Your opinion though, nowt wrong with that, I've disliked other praised games myself and I'm certainly not going to start calling you a wazzock or anything.
It doesn't look cheap though, that I will take exception to. It may look not as good as a PS4/Xbox One game but that's understandable as it's on Wii U. It's also an F-Zero X type situation where visual quality is slightly (massively in FZX) decreased to make everything run so smoothly and wonderfully. Personally I'm absolutely loving it. Gone back to it for a fourth play through already this year (only got the Wii U at Christmas) - I've not enjoyed a game this much since Super Mario Galaxy 2.
And I don't want Scalebound to be X1 only but MS is paying the bill. So now I am saving for a X1.
I am happy Nintendo supported this game and even went as far as remastering the first one in 60fps with added goodies and technically giving it for free.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
And it's one of the greatest games on the Wii U. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was
I keep going back and forth on this one. I never played the first one mind you so I am not sure if I would like the game play and it's just the hype that makes me want to play it.

Bayonetta 2 is easily my favourite game of last year and my favourite game on the Wii U so far. I love its combat and, for me, everything clicks. I'm almost going for my third play through even though I have tons of other games yet to play. Its the most fun I've had playing a game in a very long time. @sinalefa
Scalebound is one of the reasons I decided to go to the Xbox One instead of the PS4 this generation.
I feel the same but with The Wonderful 101. I beat it 4 times, including the hardest setting. Bayo 2 I beat it twice, and I need to go back to it for the Infinite Climax run.
I hope we get to see more of Scalebound soon.

Yeah, it's a nintendo exclusive. There's always a chance for a third one in the series, or even a re-release of the original, but part 2 will probably never happen.

I know. That's why I said it was one of the reasons. I really trust Platinum as a developer and they haven't let me down so far.
However, another great reason that I went to Xbox One was Sunset Overdrive and that game didn't disapoint me at all! It was great all around. @sinalefa
The Wonderful 101 was also great but I feel that Bayo 2 is more up my alley as I liked better the faster paced combat and playing only one character.

Wonderful 101 is a cracking game. You can instantly tell Nintendo have had their hands all over it, in a good way. The outspoken guy who is in charge at Platinum (who's name escapes me) says it's probably the most important game they've made as co-working with Ninty has taught them things they never expected, much more than their Capcom days. Can see the progress they've made gameplay-wise with Bayonetta 2. Hopefully it carries on as Platinum have always made good games that have just been a shade under great, gathering cult followings, and they deserve a massive mega hit.

I think you mean Hideki Kamiya, the director of W101, Bayonetta 1 and soon Scalebound. Since he is in charge of the latter, that is what makes me interested, even if we have barely seen more than a trailer. P* is one of my favorite devs.

@get2sammyb Yeah but Platinum games are making it so I wouldn't worry about its quality.
I'll be honest, Scalebound looks a little too meh for me from the (little) we've seen of it. Just looks generic and obvious. Hopefully when we see it properly it'll change my mind. But it would take much, much more to make me want an Xbox One.
I keep hoping Platinum are gonna have another crack at making Madworld the game it should be. Tidy it up a bit, add a bit more. I'm not a fan of remasters but I'd get a Madworld one. Too many people missed it because of it being on the Wii.
