I played it with the Pro Controller, so it wasn't a problem for me.
I also didn't want to start an argument, I just wanted to point out that Bayonetta 2 could be considered a great game regardless of the system.
Of course, there's no problem about having a different opinion but sometimes it seems that people that don't like Nintendo that much try to say that Bayonetta 2 isn't a good game just because it isn't on their preferred platform (not saying that's your case). It's like people saying that Bloodborne is bad just because it is'nt on Xbox One, for example.
I love Nintendo games, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Dr Luigi!!, etc... are all amazing games no matter if they are on my preferred platform or not. I am a Sony fan through and through, but I also recognize great games elsewhere, I just don't think Bayonetta 2 is one of them. I am not saying its a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, and if I limited myself to just the WiiU, I would probably think that its an amazing game (and the fact that they bundle both games is pretty awesome), but when I expand my options to include the vast titles in the Playstation library, like the numerous GoW games with an amazing story, suburb graphics, and smooth controls, it doesn't even make honorable mention. (I also stubbornly refuse to consider the classic controller as an option, just because Nintendo dropped the ball with the WiiU controller, but thats another discussion entirely). This is veering way off topic though (even though the topic was answered many times), and I should probably just let the thread die.

Considering that God of War is, for me, on the same level as Bayonetta is for you, I'll stop too. Opinions really vary, eh?
