@rastamadeus I loved Madworld. One of the reasons I was glad I got the Wii. In fact after a friend of mine played it at my place he went out the next day and bought a Wii and Madworld. He swore at the beginning of that generation that he wouldn't get a Wii too. I love bringing that up to him to this day lol. But yeah I agree with ya too many people missed that game.

@rastamadeus

I feel similar. I love Kamiya's games but sometimes I fear that he will sell out on this one because MS is putting the money so they will want a big return. Considering Xbox is so unimportant in Japan he will need to appeal to Western gamers. Main guy looks cliched and a lot like Dante.

And even without it I still want more the X1 than the PS4.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I agree. Coming from the PS3, and having had a blast with it, I feel that MS did a lot more to make me want the Xbox One than Sony did with the PS4. Scalebound is something to look forward to, but, right now, the line up is good.

PS or X1 having exclusives is ok but Wii U having one? damnn it better come to PS4!!
Its not like Nintendo is hogging exclusives I am glad they have at least one super awesome non-nintendo game to attract new customers.
Besides, the Wii U is well worth it imho. It has the best library of all current gen consoles so far....it just needs a price drop.

you can get Wii U super cheap now, at least compared to other consoles. and it seems Nintendo games are also much cheaper than PS4/Xbone games.
I'd still be playing my Wii U without thinking about buying PS4 if it wasn't for terrible Nintendo customer service... My Wii U gamepad just stopped working by itself, I sent it back to Nintendo and they insisted I inflicted physical damage to it and asked me for 85.50 pounds for repair

@Mateq How are Nintendo games cheaper? They remain $60 for years and never drop their price. If anything, they're more expensive.

Some of them yes, but usually Nintendo games are around 40 pounds mark when they come out, while PS4 games are around 50-60, which is super expensive :i

It depends also on the retailer. I got Hyrule Warriors for $48 new at Amazon, and MK8 can be bought for the same price, even when the free game promo was around.

Still a pretty small price drop though.

Most 1st party Nintendo games like Mario, Zelda etc never go down in prices. I remember Mario Kart Wii and NSMBW still costing 50 up until the release of the Wii U. Sometimes they might do something like the did with Super Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess and make them a player's choice or greatest hits or whatever they call it and then it will be permenently dropped but that doesn't happen too often and usually it's at the end of the systems life cycle. Now third part games I do see drop in prices I saw Assassin's Creed 3 at Target brand new not in a barging for 19.99. But then again how many people buy a Wii U for 3rd party games?

Yes, yes I did. In fact I just might end up using up all the demo times allowed for this game, I like it that much.

Nintendo usually keeps their big sellers full price while their less known titles may get discounted. W101 got slashed to $30, being one of their only games to have such a low price. That kinda hints me that it sold poorly.

But in general I see your point. Pokemon games are the worst, when B/W 2 debuted, Platinum was still full price, two installments previous.

Bread-Not-Toast

Won't happen Nintendo funded the sequel, so it's Nintys baby. Unless Sony wants a Bayonetta 3

Won't happen. Like others have said, Nintendo funded the game - so it's Nintendo-exclusive forever. Just like Scalebound will be Xbox-only.

Bayonetta 2 was my game of 2014. It's simply incredible.

Not to derail the topic at hand, but I honestly didn't think the game was that good, and certainly not something that I'd buy a Wii U for. Just my personal opinion. The story and voice acting were garbage and the actual gameplay (the most important thing) has been done better in countless other action games. The visuals weren't even that good, and most of the "cut-scenes" were still images with voice-over. I have no idea how it took 3 years to make such a cheap looking game.

I think that its being judged as a WiiU game, which means that you can read every comment that says "Its the best game of its type ever." as "Its the best game of its type ever, for the WiiU." People that have a WiiU as their primary (or only) console are judging the game with that mindset. I cannot judge the game in a vacuum like that. I have a WiiU, and I doubt I would play this game if it were free. Not because I think its terrible (I think its...meh or so so) but because I also have a PS3 and PS4, (my WiiU is a supplemental system), so I am not dying of thirst for good action games.

I kinda disagree with you. I have a PS3, a PSP, a PS Vita, a Nintendo DS and 3DS, a Xbox One and a Wii U and I think it's the best action game across all platforms. I love action games and I played every God of War, the 3 Ninja Gaidens, Metal Gear Rising, DmC, Devil May Cry 4, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, The Wonderful 101 and the first Bayonetta.
For me, Bayonetta 2 is queen among all of these. They all have their moments and all of them are pretty good, and extremely recomended for action fans, but Bayo 2 is better than all of those, IMHO.
I can play other games on other systems but I keep coming back to Bayonetta 2 because it's the regarding the gameplay (I concede that the story is not so good, but it's also not the focus of the game).
So, regardless of platform, it IS a good action game.

The merits of the story or graphics are arguable (as these are extremely subjective), and the actual gameplay is moot because the WiiU controller is awkward for action games (to be honest, its awkward for all game types, its just more noticeable when you need twitch reaction times), its leagues better than the Wiimote, to be fair, but its no DS4. So even if Bayonetta 2 had the best game mechanics of any game out there, its still hobbled by the controller. The WiiU definitely has games that are worth buying it for, games that you just can't get anywhere else (its why I bought one, after all) but I dont think Bayonetta 2 even comes close. Of course, as someone said earlier, one mans trash and all, but every Nintendo fan seems to be holding this up as some sort of holy grail of gaming, when it is just yet another action game. I don't really want to argue back and forth, since nothing I say will convince you that you really didn't have the fun you thought you did, and nothing you say will make me think that the story, controls, or graphics are anything more than sub par. Its enough to know that I am not the only one with a WiiU that thinks Bayonetta 2 is not the greatest game ever.

I played it with the Pro Controller, so it wasn't a problem for me.
I also didn't want to start an argument, I just wanted to point out that Bayonetta 2 could be considered a great game regardless of the system.
Of course, there's no problem about having a different opinion but sometimes it seems that people that don't like Nintendo that much try to say that Bayonetta 2 isn't a good game just because it isn't on their preferred platform (not saying that's your case). It's like people saying that Bloodborne is bad just because it isn't on Xbox One, for example.
